Secret resales 2015

In a nut shell what has happened today is:

All those who have waited patiently for over a week have now been joined by hundreds of part time chancers thanks to the Oily rag journos publishing the link we have had.

If I were SEE I would now change that link if it were ever real - meaning any advantage we might have had is gone.

Thanks a fecking bunch Somerset live

I don't think they'll change it - they don't care who has the link. They just want to sell all the tickets they can per their agreement with GF.

And I've been a member of that FB group for a long time - most of them are chancers, but they're also the type of person to click a link, see it's dead, and then forget about it. They aren't the type to bookmark or set up pingers or figure out clever ways to be first in line when the sales come (for the most part) - they simply wait for someone to tell them and then they click. As long as a sale isn't due in the next hour we will probably have business as usual. And even if it does, a lot of those people are now dubious of SALE IS ON NOW posts, and might not click when a real alert is posted.

:)

We have been commenting for a while now - they may have fucked it up for us!

My bad only part time lurking today I thought people on this forum were the ones spreading the rumors

[email protected] for article feedback, just sayin

email her and tell her that she's publishing FAKE NEWS!

I phoned up someone at one of the locals to say that, and they felt I was being more abusive telling them they were publishing FAKE NEWS than their FAKE NEWS was abusive to their readers.

Which only goes to show the high opinion that geezer had of himself.

I think we should leave it as a lot of people think they missed it, thus increasing our chances.  If everyone else finds out that it still hasn't happened then we will have more competition

    • well, we might know by the end of next month if they drop the lineup early again
    • I'm definitely not camping 🙂.  My 17 year old Daughter and her friends are there 3 days and commuting back to Sheffield each day as didn't want to camp .  I am taking and picking up the Saturday so thought I may as well get a ticket as love Fontaines DC - need to do a lot of research on the other acts though to fill my day.    I walked through the camp site other year the day Arctic Monkeys played and it was like a War Zone.  My Son has camped a couple of times but didn't fancy my Daughter staying over.
    • Not at all impressed with Polanski saying "noone should be barred from public life" wrt the Tory neo-nazi. I really don't think "no nazis in politics" should be an excessive standard.
    • Dug into Milkweed some more and this was a brilliant suggestion. Thank you 🙂   This will come as no surprise, but I have been told that there are some band substitutions to come.
    • Yeah, I think it's important to differentiate between a stage that's just a platform for the artist to walk on (which can be assembled fairly quickly and without too much difficulty), and the custom staging that you get in big productions where there's a whole world underneath.   Using the Eras tour as an example the stage extending out into the stadium field has all sorts - lifts that go up or down - down most importantly as this allows performers to enter or to leave the stage as needed. There's passageways to get from one part of the stage to another. There's what are effectively dressing rooms set aside for costume changes. There's spare instruments (and techs to look after them) so if something goes wrong above they can be swapped out in the space of seconds. There's even a track and dolly system running the full length of the stage so that Taylor can be moved from one end to the other faster than she'd be able to walk.   I don't know the specifics of the Madonna tour to the same degree but my understanding is that a lot of the same techniques are used.
