The post man is at my door to deliver a dress I ordered but I've stayed in bed and ignored it... Not worth the risk!

I had a customer on phone when first alert went off this morning, didnt want to waste time explaining to them so I just hung up! called them back after and blamed phone line problems. So glad I work from home 200 miles from boss. She would not be happy if she realised how little work is being done :)

Exactly.  And broadcasting it on twitter has turned it from a secret resale to a "resale with an unknown time"

I'm all for goading the See tickets engineers who are clearly watching and laughing on this forum :)

Yep - social media has rendered the secret resale a total non-secret. Boo social media, boo.

In other news all these changes to the website appear to have overloaded siblins notifications??? Don't think I got notified on all the changes.

I was looking through the resale threads for last year and 2014 last night. There weren't nearly as many false alarms as we had this year. Anyone get the feeling they're trying to throw us off the scent?

I cannot work out why though, surely they want to sell them as soon as possible?

I reason the See team got all their testing done early today, now off to lunch and they can come back at 1pm to press the button (or 2pm if they've gone to the pub for lunch)

Or 3pm if they've gone to a nice restaurant celebrating getting the testing done

    • It would be piss-easy for a bot to manage, though.
    • I've heard that ticket sales for other events that use the same system have included the question 'are you still there?' on each window/browser you have with a place in the queue. If you don't confirm you are, it'll assume you're not and that place will drop.   I've no idea if Glasto/See will adopt this, but it would be challenging to keep on top of with many windows open.
    • People who're struggling are already priced out, so I don't think a bump in price will affect who attends. There'll still be a cross section, leaning young. I also think they'll do a soft breaking of the £400 ceiling, keeping the ticket price just below but having postage take it over. Next year the ticket itself will be over that threshold.

    • Not sure if this has been mentioned but new La Roux album out November - was meant to play in 2020 but hasn't found her way back onto a lineup. If any excuse just to hear this absolute banger on the fields next year!
