I'd say they've done enough to warrant more than one place up from that. It'd be a bold move for WH to have them headline but possible. I could certainly see a JP headline slot. Okay, wasn't aware of this. Could be a possible WH headliner, if like Neil says the WH bookers are good at spotting talent on the rise. A JP headliner would also be fitting. Either way, I'd love to see them and really excited for the poster drop now
jackarmy
4th/5th down on The Pyramid would be great, although that probably ruins the chance of ATCQ taking a similar slot...
big__phil
JP for me please. As much fun as WH was last time (and it was SSSOOOO fun), I'd like a nice dark, loud sweaty tent this time please.
CaledonianGonzo
Not for me, please. That tent's way too far from anywhere else.
Chewie
Didn't get tickets for the world tour so was banking on a glasto appearance Missed them last time for Motorhead, but it would need something clashtacular (looking at you Radiohead) to stop me seeing them this time Excellent news
simian_mobile_mushrooms
Guys and gals, I'm relatively new to the RTJ party, really excited, but what would a dream Setlist look like for you? Start to finish, ten(ish) songs...
leggy91
Get in!! Saw them at Dismaland and it was incredible. A JP headline set would be quality.

Do you reckon, cos DJ Shadow is already there he might come over for a song? Would also be quality to hear that in a loud, dark JP tent

RTJ have their own live DJ so it may seem like a bit of a diss to Trackstar if Shadow came and shoved him off the decks. Right, I see your point, would be a bit strange. Here's hoping it happens anyway!

You're probably right, but when they played last time The Gaslamp Killer came out and did a bit of scratching towards the end. Granted they tour together and probably do this at every show, but you never know.
CaledonianGonzo
Does this also increase the likelihood of a return from Gaslamp Spookbeard?

Maybe somewhere, but if RTJ get bumped up the lineup it would be hard to see Gaslamp subbing them again.
CaledonianGonzo
Yeah - no chance. Unless he digs up his full band he'd probably just wind up DJing somewhere off-piste.

That would still mean they would play about 3rd down on the Other stage so decent spot for them.
kalifire
Ten tracks being the consensus, I'd be happy with this: 1. Talk To Me 2. Legend Has It 3. Get It 4. 2100 5. Oh My Darling (Don't Cry) 6. Love Again 7. Oh Mama 8. Stay Gold 9. All Due Respect 10. Gucci Piggy
Feel like highish-Other (~4th down) is the most likely spot for em, but due to there seeming to be loads of likely acts for those spots I've got em down as JP headliners on the Friday.
