Maybe the announcement was coming at 7:30/8 tonight, with Weller being the biggest name on it (Who coming in June), hence the interview with him tonight, but then with The Sun leaking him and The Who they put them both out last week instead.

Straw clutching I know.

Burn in hell Glastonbury.

Yeah. We've got a new boss in who's dropping players (and coaches) off like flies, he's great. We've been waiting for ages for a man to come in who's as ruthless as he is. Last season we had a problem with players taking over the dressing room and constantly underperforming. Some of those have been rewarded by being released.

We have another announcement tonight. I shall report back for the sake of it if it isn't shite.

Come on Wrexham. Wales might have four teams in the league before long *cries*

Sad to see Wrexham in the position they are now, I can remember the best professional team in Wales. Crazy looking at how you and my club (Swansea) have gone on different trajectories since we played the last game at The Vetch 10 years ago...

I have been to Wembley more often than the racecourse in the last few years though, inevitably to be disappointed.

Good to see another Wrexham fan on the boards!

Always is crazy seeing teams like The Swans, Hull and now Bournemouth up in the top league. It is great to see Swansea doing so well though. I've never really liked Cardiff or Newport (sorry for any fans on here) but I've always wanted Swansea to go on and do well. It might be partly down to Lee Trundle going there.

I

Haha, knowing North Wales Police there's no chance they'll be allowed to board the train. They'll probably be escorted from Birkenhead, like Jester were from their place.

I've been on that trip from the mighty Chester....was mad!!

oh no. some kind of sports talk. please, give us the announcement to end this hell!

And it's the worst kind of sports talk - boring contextual details relating to the game itself yet not actually part of the sport, not even the "he must have a motor powered leg!" appreciation of the actual action. Lord, deliver me from the banality of transfer deadlines!

Be having nightmares of Jim White with lead guitar on the Pyramid in his yellow tie, along with the faithfull canary that is Natalie on bass and Harry Redknap peaking out from behind his drums singing ' gotta a few things going on'

Horrible thought!

Eavis would definitely cut it on a cold rainy day in Stoke. He thrives in such conditions. #footballchat
