Were all paid up, none of us have been before but it sounds amazing so we are going whatever the line up. The tickets sold out so quickly this year, I felt privileged to get one, no way would I give it up. Still v keen to know some more acts tho! Would be interesting to know whether there are more tickets in the resale this year due to the Kanye effect but mine def won't be in there.

All paid up, never even considered throwing my ticket back into the hat. Not a fan of Kayne that with the talk of Flo, Madge and maybe Taylor Swift being talked as a Sunday headline slot doesn't excite me either but hey I don't give two hoots, the festival is huge with plenty to do theres always something else going on or someone else playing. But hey each to their own.!

The only people losing out by not paying the balance because of the lack of lineup info, is themselves. But they'll probably never know that. The ticket will hopefully go to someone desperate to get there whoever plays.

Not arsed in the slightest about 3rd headliner. I know very fine well that across the park, west holts, john Peel and not even mentioning shangri La, the glade etc that there will be some fucking amazing acts.

I think people who haven't been before think its a few stages scattered about and don't realise that its basically a city with music as an added attraction.

I think the problem for this fest is judging by Twitter and FB etc, there's a clean split between those who are looking at that 3rd headliner or the major acts and deciding based on that and those who will go regardless. With all the other festivals confirming exclusivity of major acts and getting their lineups out early doors, it has kind of put Glastonbury as of right now in a position of saying 'you know it's brilliant, so just pay the money, you'll have a good time whatever.'

considering there's lots of people who have never been before and probably secured tickets for this year's festival to be their first, many probably don't know that...

thankfully none of our lot that have never been before are thinking this as they all want to go, but i'm sure there are people who have never been who, perhaps due to the lack of a lineup, or that in combination with other factors, will give it a miss. to them, Glastonbury probably seems like just another music festival....

you've got a lifetime of spending time with him/her, a weekend wont make any difference.

The memories of that weekend at glastonbury will outweigh anything a child of that age could do.

More than happy to see no-one on the Pyramid and I know I'd still have an amazing time - so headliners have no bearing whatsoever on me paying

I have 5 out 6 ticket balances in my account, waiting on the 6th lot to be sent over them I'll pay all together.

I don't know anyone who is if'in and r'in about the line up.

If you've been before and have a semi-varied taste in music you'd be hard pressed to find something you didn't like.

3 out of the 6 above were first timers last year and they spent half of their time in the circus field getting hammered.

Paid mine 1st thing this morning and as many have said its so much more than the headliners. I don't think its that steep either when you consider your getting 5 day for £225 compared to £120 for Dave Gilmour, £140 for Macca tickets and hold on to yer hats £193 for a Madonna ticket at the NIA in Brum. My Mrs looked last night and it was £386 for 2 tickets now that's steep

I'll be paying mine as soon as I get home from work today. The line up would be nice, but I'm not overly bothered if we don't get it for a while.

I really wouldn't judge anything by twitter and facebook either!

I only get to go to one festival a year, but I have been to one annually for many years.

I choose the festival on the basis of when it fits in best with other stuff in life (family, work etc.).

I buy my ticket very early, knowing that line-up will not influence my desire to go.

I have never waited until seeing the line-ups for the few festivas I go to, to decide which one gets my money that year.

This is my first Glastonbury. I decided to try for a ticket last summer and was lucky (​read: extremely skilful) in the sale.

It would never occur to me not to go on the basis of the line-up, particularly the headliners. I expect to be interested in watching none of the Pyramid, and likely none of the Other headliners.

I want to go to festivals with people who love music and all that festivals like Glastonbury offer, but who would never be influenced significantly by line up.

Paid mine without a care, vast majority of our group doing same. One or 2 hesitating but that's more to do with one of them getting stick from his wife for forgetting to register her, but probably going on promise of trying for her in resale, and other having an 'issue' with a member of the travelling party. Enjoyed the previous times I have been so much that it wasn't a decision I had to think about. The fact that I happen to be a big Foo Fighters fan was a bonus though

I can kind of understand first timers being a bit annoyed though... the lineup is important to a lot of people who only know the festival from what they have watched on T.V/Youtube

I appreciate it's much easier to say when you've been a few times but if it reassures even one newbie, please put all concerns over the lineup aside.

When you get there you will realise how ridiculous those concerns were.
