There's bound to be more general tickets than coach tickets, and the coach tickets took longer than I expected to sell out, so I'm hoping there'll be enough for everyone here to get what they need, and if not, there's the secret resales, and eFests is brilliant for finding out when they're happening.

i like this line of thinking!!!

Never lose hope , blind faith in getting there is all you need. I wasn't lucky in October, first time in 6 glastonburys, I was gutted but knew I had the resales.

Then my wife decided she wanted to take the kids to lattitude so I've spent the first few months of this year paying for those tickets, all the time my wife telling me we couldn't realistically afford to do both within such a short period of time. We say down to work out the finances for both a few weeks ago and she was right even though I've been saving for glasto since Christmas, and even though we said we couldn't afford glasto I wouldn't let her spend the money id saved on a new tent until the end of April, I had blind faith that she would change her mind and things would work out somehow.

Then last Sunday we had a breakthrough, the thought of fleetwood mac being the third headliner was enough for her to change her mind and abandon buying a new tent, game on !

Then today I get told at work I'm getting a large bonus at the end of June, enough to easily cover all my lattitude spends for the full family, then my wife tells me she's worked enough overtime this month to put our glasto spending money away, it's all falling into place like it's meant to be.

I've got my brother coming down to mine on Sunday to help get my tickets , his luck on ticket day is scary, and he helps out our friends most resale days so I'm in good hands , blind faith !!!!

Been stressing about it at work today!

What does anyone reckon the chances of me getting my band on the lineup anywhere at all are? Just something that will get us (i.e. me) in :P

There's still a headline spot going...think big mate!

I'm hoping the ticket gods are kind on Sunday, Mrs Oneeye has finally agreed to give it a go, it would be just magic dragging her along as a newbie; she'll finally see why I've been glastobating since 2009 :)

Any help in getting 2 tickets Sunday would be greatly appreciated; payment in alcoholic beverages at the weds efest meet!

Good luck one and all; keep the faith :)

I've lurked around these parts for some time, but have avoided anything Glastonbury since Octobers failure to secure tickets for the first time! I've been back on here for a day or two now, and the positivity about Sunday has given me a warm fuzzy feeling success is just around the corner :)

Good luck to you all, I'm sure we'll all be buzzing by 9.30 Sunday morning ;)

Jesus, this is literally all I've thought about all day, I'm going to have a sodding aneurysm. I still believe though! My believe has never been more firm that everybody here will get tickets. I saw it happen last year when it got right down to the wire in the secret resales, and I do believe I'm about to see it again! NFiR NFC!

I'm with you! Proper planning and we'll all be fine!!

And same - literally cannot think of anything else

Just made the mistake of watching the blur no distance left to run documentary. I should've waited as I'm more nervous than before! If it's even the slightest chance of them I can't not be there.

I have the BBC coverage of the 09 set on my Sky Box - if we get tix on Sunday I'll be celebrating with that - definitely the most emotional gig I've ever been to, I was a blubbering mess through half of it!

Met my girlfriend during it. The idea of them headlining and us not being there is pretty horrible! I will be drinking with old footage too if Sunday is successful

I'll be watching the Julien Temple film on Sunday, followed by a helping of Arcade Fire from last year, maybe even some Smashing Pumpkins from '13... and the shaky phone footage of The Crow's Nest singing along to Dry The Rain with Steve Mason at midnight on Sunday 2013 :)

Haha Julien temple then arcade fire is exactly my plan! I only have 2013 and 2014 on my (old) sky box so it's only audio of blur, muse etc.

I was lucky enough to watch them that year. It was pretty emotional

    • Totally agree about PinkPantheress stage choice. 'Luckily' for me, one of my main targets, fakemink, was absolutely awful, meaning that I left early and was in a surprisingly good spot at Cupra before it got totally packed.
    • As many said before, not my favourite Primavera. sh*tty weather is something I'm not really used to when enjoying music. Poor communication (more than 1 hour long radio silence during the worst rain) didn't help, but the main problem was me. I decided to leave the venue after things seemed to be getting back to normal. Massive Attack were supposed to play again (with Hymn of the Big Wheel back on the setlist!) as were all other artists on the smaller stages (including Fcukers with one my favourite albums of the year). FOMO was at an all-time high. However, after 4 hours in the rain, I had to admit to myself that I'm not cut out for this. I wasn't even that soaked (water-proof jacket worked). I was just fed up with the rain, wind and cold and wasn't able to enjoy music anymore.   Also, they should stop ignoring the growth of some artists between signing them up and their actual performance. Both PinkPantheress and Ninajirachi sets were ruined for me by completely inadequate stage choice.   However, I felt very much the same way after the 2022 edition and have thoroughly enjoyed all subsequent editions. So I'm still buying early bird tickets for 2027 and hoping this was a hiccup not the start of a downward trend.
    • I will definitely be buying a 2027 early bird pass, partially because of the priority reservation privileges for the Ciutat sets. Hopefully the organization will take action to improve upon this year's failings. Because I thought the free water options and sound quality were an improvement over last year, so clearly they can actually implement positive changes.   I also hope all the douchebag chompers get in the sea, cause I was more bothered by them than in the past few years.   Highlights: The Cure, Ninajirachi, Knocked Loose, Current 93, Blood Orange.
    • Similar feelings to a few others on here. Not my personal favourite edition but a long way from giving up on it. Felt overcrowded at times and there are just too many people there that don't seem to like music that much! Hardly went to main stages which was the plan. Highlights Ralphie Choo, rusowsky, Gorillaz, Geese, Gelli Haha, The Sophs, PinkPantheress, Dijon. Accommodation booked for next year. Thanks for your company and comments over the past year.
