I don't remember the Friday storms, I was in the circus field and I'm sure I was playing silly outdoor games or something. Am positive there was some sort of inflatable globe that we were pushing people round on..

Think I remember rain Sat early afternoon...am sure I hid out in the avalon cafe

Im sure it was saturday last year? Was watching Jimi Goodwin on the park and he had to go off early. Think Rudimental or disclosure were playing the same time and they got cut off. (Always get them 2 mixed up)

Yes think it was. Remember Parquet Courts came on late.

Yes we got stuck under a tiny table & umbrella next to coffee place at Yeoman's Bridge, the coffee was good but the shelter was better. Threw down for a while as I remember then got better in the afternoon.

Right okay, so from this you can say that there is a confidence regarding rain on Tuesday (23rd) but the rest is up in the air? is that fairly accurate?

yeah - you've got it! you can also say that even the runs that are predicting ra*n aren't predicting a lot of it.

Yeah, that's pretty accurate. Only medium confidence for the Tuesday rain as some runs keep it dry.

Friday was the storm when they cut the power off.

Saturday was horrible rain for the morning and afternoon. I got absolutely soaked watching kodaline and then imagine dragons. Horrible day.

That day would've been horrible regardless of the weather

Worth waiting for in the rain.

Does anyone remember that kid who started singing to get the crowd going? What a hero.

That it was. I ran away and hid in my tent, as it was only around the corner. Great set though!

Was tipping it it down during The Daptones as well. Charles Bradley bore the brunt.

Yes I was there for that as well! Nowhere to take cover around there either! Ended up under a food stall umbrella with about 20 others.

I was in the circus field for part of the storm and the only brave souls who weren't in/under the circus tent were at the cocktail bar or marching through the field on their way to somewhere.

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
