Was told some info by a friend that almost definitely rules out Florence + the Machine for R&L; they'll be elsewhere apparently

I wonder if my thought for them originally is going to come off?, although I'll admit the more time went on I couldn't decipher here or IOW but the former was my 1st thought, even before the Open'er date, it's defo highlighted a while back in here. I don't see it being V for some reason.

Florence and the Machine for V and T then.

I think T and IOW atm. The more so later Euro fests and end of this year UK Tour had me think a while back IOW was very possible. I think given how close Reading is to V that it would have been Reading they'd have chose. It's now fairly wide open, I think think Foo's will be one, I still don't think Foals will be. I'm a little stuck after that, Blur are a possible I guess.

If they did IOW does that dramatically reduce the chances of them doing R&L?

Yes mate, more than dramatically, it'll stop it as it'll be a headline show at whichever one and they don't share. The Prodigy have been an act to headline IOW and sub R&L before but they've always been a header at IOW since playing whereas they haven't at Reading. I've only put the last bit in before I'm asked why though I'd assume most known anyway.
