Yep, he was brilliant, so good in fact, that one of his songs that I like, I thought 'Bloody hell, that's him too?" A pearl of a headline to finish, for me.

It was absolutely great. I did feel that the majority were hoping for (and expected) Carolina when he decided to go for an acoustic song and there was a sense of disappointment when he didn't.

 

I thought it was fucking fantastic though. My Ryan Adams was limited to Gold and Ashes & Fire beforehand but I've just picked up Heartbreaker, Cold Roses and Love is Hell!

 

Honestly his best record is his new (self titled) one, such a wonderfully simple record.

Just watching again on BBC website. Awesome stuff but I think I may have been too pissed at the time to appreciate just how good it was, if that makes any sense.

We went to catch the Who thinking it would be great. About 30 mins in it became a bit of a wedding band situation so we left and caught Mr. Adams' full set and I'm glad we did. He was phenomenal

I thought it was after a girl near me shouted "16 Days!!" for the umpteenth time!  In which case he would've been joking because he has/does play that.

It was definitely the best of the 7 times I've seen him!

He was on great form. Always wanted to see him, but you just forget how many songs he's produced and so there are always going to be a few favourites that don't get played.

He's done about 3 dates since Glasto - some about 3-4 songs longer, but with mostly similar content.  Guess it depends if he's the main support, but I'd imagine he'd have an hour at least.
