Michael Bibi seems to be the consensus but just guesswork rather than info I believe.

Yeah no solid info but a well educated guess. He pulled out of the levels last year due to cancer treatment, cancer-free in December, came back to perform Coachella, and back touring this summer - 1st set publicised is starting a week after Glasto in London

He essentially plays electro, and is very good at it. Been wanting to see him for a while and so will try to make that set.

Fair dos - I do sometimes get lost when applying genres to dance music these days! Everything very blurred!

Thanks for picking out Layla Benitez earlier on in the thread - not a huge fan of fast/ dark techno, so her recent Essential Mix is a nice listen. Saturday night already is stacked!

Yeah, I just wish the new Glade was a slightly better stage for proper dance music. Might have been that Avery and Fearless was just too packed last year, but it didn't feel like a crowd that was really there to dance...

Ben

Edit - and a shame, as their selections were phenomenal.

They were posted here but for the life of me cannot remember their name - Japanese DJ trio (I think) who played heavy techno and trance

Minna-No-Kimochi.

Slightly disappointingly, they're only playing in one of the Village Underground takeovers in Platform 23, but for only an hour (what?) and with two other artists. So that gives them 20 minutes in my maths! Sunday (Monday morning) 0400-0500h.

Thanks, I knew it was M something.

I'll be gone by then but I take your point on the slots and time given.

All good though, I'll be able to catch Joy Anonymous 20 times this year so that makes up for it

Did ask earlier in the thread but it's lost in the depths now, but any thoughts on this TBA on Saturday at Levels?

Seth troxler.

Glastonbury is on his tour dates, but I can't see him on the lineup.

- nevermind, it's the Thursday.

he used to play in Beat Hotel, so maybe San Remo?

Given there doesn't look to be space on the Thursday for him, my assumption would be he's part of the Radio 1 dance takeover on the BBC introducing stage, as that doesn't currently specify the DJs playing

Oh yeah could be. Radio 1 usually mean Trance when they say Dance though don’t they 😂

    • Totally agree about PinkPantheress stage choice. 'Luckily' for me, one of my main targets, fakemink, was absolutely awful, meaning that I left early and was in a surprisingly good spot at Cupra before it got totally packed.
    • As many said before, not my favourite Primavera. sh*tty weather is something I'm not really used to when enjoying music. Poor communication (more than 1 hour long radio silence during the worst rain) didn't help, but the main problem was me. I decided to leave the venue after things seemed to be getting back to normal. Massive Attack were supposed to play again (with Hymn of the Big Wheel back on the setlist!) as were all other artists on the smaller stages (including Fcukers with one my favourite albums of the year). FOMO was at an all-time high. However, after 4 hours in the rain, I had to admit to myself that I'm not cut out for this. I wasn't even that soaked (water-proof jacket worked). I was just fed up with the rain, wind and cold and wasn't able to enjoy music anymore.   Also, they should stop ignoring the growth of some artists between signing them up and their actual performance. Both PinkPantheress and Ninajirachi sets were ruined for me by completely inadequate stage choice.   However, I felt very much the same way after the 2022 edition and have thoroughly enjoyed all subsequent editions. So I'm still buying early bird tickets for 2027 and hoping this was a hiccup not the start of a downward trend.
    • I will definitely be buying a 2027 early bird pass, partially because of the priority reservation privileges for the Ciutat sets. Hopefully the organization will take action to improve upon this year's failings. Because I thought the free water options and sound quality were an improvement over last year, so clearly they can actually implement positive changes.   I also hope all the douchebag chompers get in the sea, cause I was more bothered by them than in the past few years.   Highlights: The Cure, Ninajirachi, Knocked Loose, Current 93, Blood Orange.
    • Similar feelings to a few others on here. Not my personal favourite edition but a long way from giving up on it. Felt overcrowded at times and there are just too many people there that don't seem to like music that much! Hardly went to main stages which was the plan. Highlights Ralphie Choo, rusowsky, Gorillaz, Geese, Gelli Haha, The Sophs, PinkPantheress, Dijon. Accommodation booked for next year. Thanks for your company and comments over the past year.
