Just to share the fab news - my cheeky email to SeeCoaches has come up trumps again and I am on the first coach (0545h) out of Birmingham on Wednesday, so I am on track to max out Glastonbury 2017!

Going to be epic, team. Six weeks from now...

:)

Agreed, Matty

Hopefully Spider, Beat Hotel or Common today or Tuesday of next week.

I was thinking this morning that Paranoid London just have to turn up somewhere in addition to what seems to be a Saturday afternoon Glade slot. Surely they'd want to do a dirty night-time set too...? Hope so.

Need those last couple of key areas and then the big drop so I can plan my ludicrously ambitious nocturnal schedule.

I'm sure my times are available but they were not helpful at all yesterday.. I'm going to email them again today to get my times.

You've got a great coach leaving on th Wednesday! What's your Monday coach saying?

I went on my Order Tracker after lots on the forum had said they could see their times, and saw nothing.

So, I did the live chat on that page and the lovely Oliver confirmed my times.

I have an 0400h coach back assigned!

Well, clearly I will still be either in the Temple or at Genosys at that time, so that ain't happening!

even though everyone says that they never look at your ticket for the coach home, I've defo had mine scrutinised (gently) before, so my OCD has led me to book an 0830h National Express out of The Gods' Own Festival on the Monday, so I can dance all of Sunday night with no thought of concern, then stagger back to camp, pack the tent and stagger once more to PGA.

Give the Live Chat a go on your orcer tracker, Cieran - worked a treat.

Same here. They don't usually check the ticket times when returning, so you'll be fine.

Ah crap, I was banking on them not checking tickets on the way back. On a coach to London when I really want to be heading to the Midlands. Will investigate other options.

Don't let me misrepresent that, OB - it is cursory, if it happens at all and almost everyone would attest that there is effectively NO checking, either of times or destinations!

Just think of me as being over-cautious/anxious/prepared and you carry on as you were planning to. You WILL be fine. Ignore me!

To be fair I've had second thoughts myself. Last year our coach back was pretty full (and five hours late - coming out of Downlow then straight to the coach station wasn't my finest hour :o).

Thinking about it a driver would be nice...

I'd have to confess to having thrown a bit of money at this so that I will unquestionably be there until Michael and Emily come 'round in the Defender unplugging all of the DJ controllers and decks.

It's the biggest party in the world and I'm not being picked up by Dad whilst all my friends stay there until the end!

Exactly! As sensible as I'd like to be there's no way I'm finishing early come Sunday.

I'm actually starting to think a driver isn't too crazy an idea. Shouldn't be too much more than x 2 train/bus tickets...

2 years ago I had a Manchester bus package and managed to get on the Glasgow bus without any problems. Waited until it was near leaving, saw there was space, slipped the driver a tenner, job done.

Very possibly already known to some/many of you, this is a pretty great mix from Steffi, about seeing whom I am very excited. She is very high up the list for June.

Edit: forget 'pretty great mix'. This is absolutely fantastic. It's electro-techno. Slips in and out of Kraftwerky every now and again and then 'firms' up. I could dance to this for 6 hours very, very happily.

you'd like to hear

In terms of DJs they are my #1 this year.

Matt - will be at work and can't get FB (and I'm not in it anyway!).

Any chance of a direct linky for the stream?

And that sounds like S&V will be even better than expected!

Just checked my times and found out that I was only booked a single ticket  What do you reckon the chances are of me getting on a coach at all?

Good luck for later Matthew! I'll have a listen in.

Having never got the coach home before, does this mean that if I'm not there super early for the 10.30am coach to Sheffield I might end up having to wait for the next one....which I think might be quite a bit later!

I know this is technically the wrong thread...but my god, I need an Arcadia announcement!

Also....my mate just text me saying he's booking coaches back to London and found a 4am one which he is willingly considering opting for. Jesus. I mean, he will be in bed way before midday probs but no, just no. I can only assume its slim pickings at this point?

It's not the wrong thread, Sassy - we all want Arcadia to drop!

What do you mean by slim pickings? Do you mean is there much going on at 0400h on the Monday morning?

@bennyhana22 Sorry, no I meant maybe by this time in May all the decent coaches to London have gone so its 4am or nowt! Its the only logical explanation I can come up with as to why he'd he do that!!

But then some folk opt to come on Thursday out of choice, so what do I know...haha

Arcadia next week....right?

    • We don't have any choice but I don't need a t-shirt for it! 🙂    On the bright side, it gets it out of the way for a nice 5 year run... notwithstanding wars, new contagious diseases and apocalypse.

    • Top 5 acts of the weekend for me: 1. The Cure 2. my bloody valentine  3. caroline 4. Father John Misty 5.
