We got in got confirmed the payment, it crashed, managed to get back to doing it again and then once we confirmed it said 'Out of Stock'

PC died early on (could not even see the page after 9am) - got thru to the ticket buying page on 3g and proceeded to get kicked out 5 times after entering card details and hitting proceed. I don't understand why the tickets are not reserved for you after you have put in your reg details, many other sellers reserve you tickets for like a 10 minute window after you have selected what you want. I don't see how its fair that someone can effectively buy the tickets you have selected whilst you are waiting for their server to connect.

I also dont get how 5 mins before they sold out, Eavis tweeted saying there were half the tickets remaining......... they sold half the tickets in 20 mins and half in 5?

I have officially had it now, I know I am over reacting a bit here but after what happened to me last year and getting as far as the payment page only to get binned five times this year I have had it, I am now going to go into hiding so you won't see me on this site for a long, long while!

hopefully many people here got tickets. I know there are lots of die hards here and I hope the ones that really wanted them got them.

I also hope Neil got his, I know he prefers to buy than get a free one (I seem to remember him saying he could get tickets but preferred to buy).

Completely agree - this is the thing that really pisses me off. Why are they not 'reserved' for you once you are through (Iike Ticketmaster)?

I am absolutely convinced it is easier to buy from the North. I had not a peep down here in the south east, the same for all the other locals I know. For the last few years it is a friend in the North who has sorted me, and I thought last year there were loads more northern accents than normal.

Well, for the first time in 10 years I didn't get myself a ticket, couldn't get past the holding page, across several devices and network connections. Then "Sold Out" flashed up on them all. Balls. Then a message poped up on my iphone from my mate, he'd got me a ticket! Over the moon!

Commiserations for those who weren't so lucky.

They'd be better off just doing a lottery of registrations (confirm you want to go this year etc) and emailing you the results. It'd save people wasting an hour seeing nothing but a blank server error screen, with an occasional 'queue' page chucked in (which promptly returns to server error after 20s) to give you false hope of course.

I reckon if you even got the holding page you had more success than most. From 9:00am until sold out all I got was page unavailable. Time to find a new festival to attend. Give it a few years and it will sellout in under 5 minutes.
