Car Park Sticker

Got 2010, 2013 and 2014 still in place. Would have had 2011 but worked Oxfam that year and they don't do parking stickers. Had them all from 2003 onwards on the windscreen before 2010 - but windscreen cracked that year and had to be replaced. If you want to keep them try avoiding the wiper zone as much as possible otherwise the MOT sometimes fails unless they are removed from this 'vision' area.

I stick it to a polypocket and cut round it before I go, then stick it the windscreen with Sellotape.

Then afterwards, I stick them to a different window in the car.

Halfords do a spray called Sticky Stuff Remover which melts them off in a matter of minutes.

In subsequent years, stick to transparent plastic (or cling film) and masking tape to the screen.

Or place cling film round it before small amount of Sellotape in each corner. Mine is still on though! Will be as long as poss. Car had MOT the other week and passed fine as sticker behind interior mirror so not blocking view!

hand sanitizer also works....

next year, make sure the windscreen is as clean as possible if you decide to stick it on... i did that this year (only because i had to wash it to try and get last years v fest sticker off) and this year it pealed right off no issues...

When I eventually come to removing mine I use a plastic scraper, applying olive oil or, even better, WD40, with a bit of kitchen roll. Then I use some soapy water or windscreen wipes to clean up the resulting mess. Still takes a few minutes though.

I went in a company car so we laminated the sticker and used masking tape to stick it to the windscreen , it was only when typing this I realised I could of just taped the sticker to the windscreen but I went a bit laminator mad this yr.
