That's one thing I haven't missed about England, all the body cameras everywhere.

er, body cameras? Is this a medical fetish??

This reminds me of a local restaurant that's expanded over 2 buildings, next to each other. Unfortunately, there's a door in between, leading to an upstairs spa. It's unfortunate because it leaves a big advert on the pavement facing those diners, for services including colonic irrigation....

Bon appetit.

Ah, bloody cameras!

That's the problem with swipe keyboards. They censor. Won't let me say duck, shot or Pius.

There used to be a shop called something like Supa Scupa on the Kings Heath High street area of Birmingham. Essentially it consisted of trays and trays off confectionary that you used scoops to get the sweets out of the trays and into paper bags that were provided. Anyway, this place went bust and was taken over by an outlet providing colonic irrigation. As they were doing the shop up for the colonic irrigation service there was a point when both the previous sweet shop's sign was up in the front window as well as the news owners signage. To anyone looking at the window the words read;

Colonic Irrigation (new shop signage)

Scoop as much or as little as you want (the sweet shops signage)

I had wanted to take a photo of the shop front, but never got around to it.

Only playing!

I've had an off grid day trimming my mother-in-law's bush (no, really!) so popped in to say a quick hello before sleep. I'll try to contribute a bit more over the weekend.

Night all!

FINBARR!!

Sorry I haven't been on, early starts and late finishes at work leave me tired and drawn to wine, and I'm sure my tipsy ramblings will leave you all scratching your heads in confusion. Evening all!

Posting on NFR NFC while inebriated?

You'll never fit in! ;)

LOLAGY!

(I'll let someone else explain the extrapolations / extensions of 'LOL-')

Woffy I have been wondering about the lol extensions. H.M.V did one earlier. Can't remember what it was though.

I had the common sense not to comment whilst inebriated haha. Do you realise that autocorrect puts your name as Soggy??

    • My wife works for a music company, they have an allocation already.  They run a ballot for it early next year.
    • This is my guess too.    2028 festival breaks the £400 barrier.
    • Yeah I did spot that AXS had more available for the O2 shows Muse are doing, though I think that comes with the territory of AXS now being the venue's primary ticket selling platform.    My instinct remains they'll probably still play to a big crowd on the night - sales were similarly slow in 2023 but videos of those gigs showed the venue looking pretty much full. Equally it probably would be sold out if the pricing was even just slightly less ridiculous. Shave up to £50 off some of these categories and I think that would've got people to go with it.
    • Some are definitely already there with that and with another round of inflation looking like it's on the way, it certainly locks that in. And I say that as someone who also isn't willing to break the £100 marker.
