It won't be Chili's because they've already said Foos are this year's rock band.

It would be nice to just have a little more from them this week.

Just so I have something new to ponder.

Even if it was just a few 'non headliners' or something.

I have a problem......

I thought that too. though if someone has fallen through I guess you have to bend the rules a bit.

he is absolutely adamant about this but I just cannot see it, for all of the reasons already mentioned.

i'm happy with whoever pal. i'll be having a marvellous time whoever they choose. but in an ideal world the third headliner would be the stone roses for me.

A Stone Roses fan turning up out of nowhere and claiming to have info that has somehow eluded Neil, have we been here before? Edited by Zac Quinn

i'm as sceptical about this 'info' as anyone. I just wanted to check whether anyone else had heard similar. as it's literally the first time I've heard them mentioned. I don't think it's them, I don't want it to be them and i'm certainly not trying to take any credit for having this 'info', which i'm pretty sure is (hopefully) bollocks.

Sorry no I meant regards to our two new users.

Ah I see sir. I always eye new friends on here with slight suspicion since the whole BaggysTechGuy thing. Ever so strange that was...! But yes hello to all and to all HELLO

    • Policing is very relaxed, provided you stay within your lines I'd say. I don't think we're supposed to have an event shelter as well as a tent next to our van, but we've done it without issue for years. It's a happy vibe up there.
    • Do feel a lot more cynical about the Mercury now. Given the awards show is now an arena event, there's clearly a pressure on them to nominate mainstream acts in order to sell tickets for it. And not saying that Jade and Knats don't deserve to be nominated (haven't listened to either), but the fact the event is in Newcastle can't have nothing to do with that... (not to mention Fender winning last year, which frankly was a joke)    Hard not to agree with this: https://www.clashmusic.com/features/this-years-mercury-prize-is-a-pivot-towards-the-mainstream/
