Plan to flavor some (cheap, so it's not too blasphemous) whiskey. Was thinking of stuffing one with limes and ginger, the other with lemons and cinnamon, and then honey into both. I've not flavoured whiskey before, so fingers crossed.

Then I'll reread here to decide what I do with vodka!

This also works well, I do an "Apple Pie" Borubon most years now! (and have done so again) Tastes delish!

Did the Werthers Original flavour last year. Popped about 15 of them into a 500ml bottle of vodka and turned out very nice. Nice flavour and consitency.

Problem was it was too tasty and ended up drinking the entire bottle by about 5pm on Thursday. I soon turned into Michael Flatley. Which may / may not be a bad thing

Just started on my infusions, I opted for a Sherbet Lemon concoction & a Blueberry one.

I went a bit OTT with the Blueberries, Sherbet Lemons & also the vodka. So I now have an extra bottle of vodka as well as the remaining vodka from the other 2 mixes - which is nearly a pint.

I've decided to go for the classic Skittles vodka for the third mix, only because I know where I am with that. So whatever vodka is left, I might do a mix of all three... although, I'll probably chicken out and try a Rhubarb & Custard instead.

Loving how sharp the colours are already.

What bottles are you planning on bringing your flavoured vodkas to the festival in? Debating doing something like this myself but don't want to take any glass or anything like that with us. Plus I'll have to fight my friends who just want it for adding to their coke.

Ordinary plastic bottles. Any sort really, but wrap sellotape tightly round the lid/neck to prevent any leakage

I have made 2 types this year. Espresso and Werthers toffees.

I get small bottles of water that I put them into. I freeze some of the bottles of water to act as Ice blocks in the cool box and stick the flavoured vodka in the freezer too to get it as cold as possible.

If you have made flavoured vodka that looks clear do not forget to mark which ones are the water.

I go get a couple of the more "sport lid" water bottles and decant into those.

Ah, fair enough! I might get a couple of those short stout Evian bottles with the sports type cap and use those then. Will report back on Vodka flavouring experimentation. Think I'll go for a salted caramel and maybe some skittles. Depends what'll be most palatable for mixing with lemonade/cola.

I can't drink vodka anymore. It was never a favourite despite the quantities that I drank of the stuff over the years. Mind you, I have never tried one of these almost demented mixtures / combinations that people on here eulogise about. Maybe I should try one of them babies before ruling vodka out completely.

They can be quite nice and refreshing and a change from the usual spirit & soft drink mix. I'm trying to steer away from vodka too, turns me feral!

I have a raspberry gin on the go, no idea what it'll be like yet!

Sports caps are definitely the way to go. You can just squirt a little into your mouth at a time, stops you necking all that lovely stuff that yu've laboured over in the first hour. We always keep some tequila in one.
