I really miss the shouts of bollocks - you used to hear it ricochet around the site, growing from a distant roar to a deafening shout and past you into the distance like an audio Mexican wave of excitement and enthusiasm

Doesn't seem to happen anymore. Pretty sure someone got up and shouted shut up last time I heard some folk try and start one

I wonder who the first person was to shout it at glastonbury- did the response take them by surprise? Had they planned it their whole life or was it an accident?

It's a shame it doesn't seem to take off anymore!

On my travels I met an old Traveller called Arthur ,he was part of a group of people known as The Medieval Brigans ( bad spelling ? ) ,there was a festival back in 70s on the grounds of Windsor in The Queens back garden basically and the Old Bill came on site to try and stop it ,when asking for names everyone just said they were called " Wally " and begun shouting it all over the site and I think this tradition just carried on and morphed into Alan or bollocks or whatever.
