I think both sides look ok, can see both progressing through the groups but losing to the first top team they play. The style England play the can beat most teams on their day, you worry they don't conserve enough energy over an intense tournament schedule.

England dont really deserve to loose this but even with his cross for the goal Wooney is contributing to this potential loss in a big way............... Not on form................

he's not a left midfielder. Baines has looked like he's covering the entire left side on his own. The Italians obviously saw that put two players on him straight after half time which lead to the cross for the second goal

A loss could be a massive blow to England but the manner of some of their play should give them belief against Uruguay.

Really enjoyed that game, Italy deserved it but England played well. England's main problem seemed to a lack of creativity from deeper positions, Henderson did ok without offering too much while Gerrard was anonymous for most of the game. I'll be surprised if they don't make it through the group though.
