Anyone know if you can get from Gate A through mound ground and wicket ground up to Lime kiln and Hitchin hill as a bog standard punter? I've been blocked from walking in some of that part of the site in the past due to not being cyclist, family, hospitality or disabled camper.

And how soon does it fill up?

Always used to camp up there and loved it, but for various reasons have been migrating through South Park, Dairy, Rivermead and Pylon for the last few years depending on which of the group arrived first and how far they could be bothered to walk

Well...I'm not very impressed with this. Not at all. Having lived through the accidental misery of camping near The Bimble Inn (NEVER AGAIN) I was looking forward to getting a moderately peaceful spot in Dairy. With Arcadia on the doorstep I can't see that being likely

Where the fuck are you supposed to camp now if you want a bit of quiet at 2am?

Fuck me, the map has been up for nearly a week and I've only just seen it!

Pennards just became a lot less appealing, although around the back of the field towards the healing fields might be okay.

What's Big Ground like everyone? Looks good from the point of view of it being a straight road down through William's Green/Acoustic/Circus Field/West Holts etc. all the way down to Stone Circle. However, bit put off by it being a bloody age away from the dance areas/JP stage and the late night areas.

You can't walk thru the middle of wicket ground. You have to go round the bottom and up the side.. I think it runs parallel to a bit of the hospitality camping and the main path though.

I've camped up there each time I've been and the only time it was fuller than I expected on a Wednesday was 2011... luckily last year was back to normal :)

Map is working fine here.

We had a disaster on Ticket day this year so we only have 8 of us going (usually around the 25-30 mark) so I can now look at fields that tend to fill up quick as we will only have 4 or 5 tents with us.

Just hope we can get on site quickly and get to our favoured spot of Kidney Mead//Big Ground again!

I really don't like the new Arcadia location. I love to sit at the top of the viewing area where it's reasonably quiet (not near Stone Circle) and just chill out, overlooking the site. That's going to be completely changed now thanks to the view of bursts of flames. Lots of people on here are saying Arcadia is quiet unless you're inside the circle, but the flames are so loud. I could hear them from our tent in Bushy Ground last year, and they were lighting up the area every time as well.

I also think it'll affect any late night stuff happening in the Park and piss off people who have forked out for a nice peaceful tipi field!

But those are just my thoughts, and I'm sure lots of people will love its new location. Time will tell, it might be great there.
