I got my tickets in October, but agreed to help a couple of Efesters out and fortunately got through for DrWackadoodle around 10 past

My weirdest ever Glastonbury tickets experience. In spite of massive preparations and multiple friends trying for me, we failed in the main sale. Decided since then not to go this year (lineup not that appealing to wife and me -- and last year was so great).

Today, happened to sit down at computer at 8.59, switched on. Thought 'Oh Glastonbury tickets go on sale in a minute's time'. Thought 'Seetickets must be in meltdown right now'. Thought 'I'll have just have a look to see how bad it is'. Immediately got through to the booking page. Thought 'This can't be correct'. Had a half-hearted scrabble around the place for wife and my registration numbers. Found them on a scrap of paper in a drawer. Typed them in, thinking 'this will never work'. Couldn't find a debit card. Eventually found it. Did all the stuff. Purchase confirmed a few seconds later.

Wow! Somehow it's even sweeter because it's so unexpected.

Been too nervous to even come onto efestivals after failing to get tickets in October but

OMG we got ours in 6 mins! Very very very happy is a mild understatement!

I was trying for some mates and got through only once (on my phone using 3G) and entered the details but it didn't matter - everyone I know had already bought theirs within five minutes.

I'm still scared it didn't work, even though the money is out of my account.

Took a while to get in, then everyone of my connections got in at once (I'm wondering if some people were kicked off and this opened a load of space?). My tool had me flying through the card process and I was through in a few seconds.

Someone called me and we tried to get him a couple of tickets, but by the looks of it, his mates got him some (at least I hope so).

I was calm throughout, somehow the planets seemed aligned. Very over excited now though!

_{All went smoothly, I feel, wasn't trying for myself but got up to help others got on to the booking page quite easily. Congrats to the happy people that got them today. The question now, (im a fan myself but know they are not) How many Oasis fans are going to be unhappy buying tickets still believing they are to headline.}
