Skoo
Hi all, long time lurker here, finally plucking up the nerve to post! Have loved reading these threads, getting in the mood for the festival.. In prep for Glasto, I've bought myself a brand spanking new tent with enough headroom to stand up in! So excited about that after years spending too much time in the mornings crawling around the floor of my tent desperately searching for something or other. I've also invested in a puffy insulated jacket to stay warm in the evenings - the cold always gets me, so trying to be well prepared this time around. Both from Go Outdoors in the sale, bargain! Plan to pop to Poundland this week to seek out cheap stools and space blankets hopefully.

SOAD
Bought a new pair of walking boots. The pair I had last year were a life saver with my bad ankle but unfortunately broke towards the end of the summer. Hopefully these will be as good. JoBalls
I tried out my pac-a-mac. It's definitely waterproof and fine for showers, but if we get closer to the festival and the forecasts suggest a wet one, I will be getting something that covers my bum. alframsey
Bought some new walking boots and took the dog on a long old walk in them, not too many issues with them and feel a dream for £40 quid. Can't be doing with wellies so I hope it doesn't rain. I'd go the walking boot + gaiter route if I wasn't paranoid the gaiters would be no good. ExcitedAboutGlasto
I'm trying to buy all the gear I need to take with me today. Anyone recommend a good airbed (double) to take that is fairly cheap, doesn't way a tonne to carry and quick to inflate?

MrsRookin
Have pulled all of our inflatable mattresses from the basement, cleaned them off and inflated to check there are no issues, as trying to cover our whole group out of our ridiculous pile of camping equipment!
