Ok. I searched but i'm digitarded and couldn't find a result.

When is this?

On the Wednesday?

What time?

Is anyone invited?

Is it at the Cider Bus?

EtcEtcEtcEtc...etc.

Apologies if this is 'tacitly known info'.

I know the cider bus is traditional but last year it was mobbed and it was quite hard to work out who was actually with the meet, had I not recognised people from previous meets then I'd never have found it. Not much use for any newbies.

first couple of times I went to the meet, I couldn't find anybody or I was too scared to go up to people. But now, it's alright, I know a few faces, couple of people I recognise to bellow obsceneties at and then buy them a pint. But I understand the difficulty of the first time, definitely. Don't really know how it could be made easier

Name badges do help. I've got a Grumpyhack T Shirt, with the same pic as my avatar. I did manage to meet up with a few E-Festers last year. I seem to remember Neil even had a flag (though that might have been a previous year, they all blur into one).

We also had a sub-section for the 'Old Gits and Hags' which included suggested facemasks. My memory is that a lot of the Old Gits had Mick Jagger masks.

A meet anywhere isn't easy but the Cider Bus seems as good a place as any. There's a patch of ground opposite with a few benches, which is where we gathered.

I'm up for a meet. Great to put faces to people we've been chatting to on here.

I turned up last year and couldn't find anybody. After about 45 minutes of wandering around every part of the cider bus for anything e-festivals related I left without meeting anybody :(

This. A flag would be very helpful for those of us who, despite being on here for many years, wouldn't actually recognize anyone in real life!

Alternatively we could all ensure we look EXACTLY like our avatars. That giant 'B' is going to get tiresome to lug about though... ;)

Last year I'd been awake for about 40 hours straight and then got drunk on beers and set off for the cider bus, I ended up having an out of body experience and somehow found my way to the Greenfields and got talking to some hippies. My memories of it are choppy and weird, it's a lot like the boat in the tunnel scene from the Gene Wilder film Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.

I think I walked past last year (or did I?) I'm sure I walked past the cider bus but from what people tell me it's in a different place to where I thought I saw it (I blame many things) will endeavour to get there this year with an efest T-shirt with JayBalls on the back :)

Wednesday 4pm may be rushed as we'll arrive about then, I need to set up the cv and don my Mr E beard, but I'll get there somehow, looking for giant Bs, naked women on George Osborne's face and a gold prospector.

One problem this year is, if I've read correctly, that Neil doesn't yet have a ticket. I think he might have been the E-Fests flag waver.
