Can't say I'm too bothered by rain as long as my tent doesn't leak. Someone needs to post the gif of the kid who is experiencing rain for the first time, since I saw that rain has really not bothered me in the slightest.

To be fair, I bet after a few days she'd be pretty sick of it.

I think the problem I am having is that the Met Office are using really black cloud icons for most of Friday which kinda looks doom and gloomy. Need to remind myself that they are also forecasting sunshine and that I actually really like sunshine and showers. ^_^

No, I'm curious as to whether it's Pilton in Zummerset as well. Don't think it is going by their forecasts for Glastonbury itself...

this is non-mobile yr.no

Unfortunately, the link CaledonianGonzo posted appears to match up with Pilton in Northampton:

on yr.no the forecast for shepton mallet is even worse!

Weirdly it's the complete opposite - heavy rain saturday with light rain friday.

Saying that: 'heavy' is 9mm saturday with 1mm on friday. Not *too* bad.

Hence proving weather forecasts are all bullshite!

I swear weather is clearer as numbers and swirly pressure diagrams than the enforced guesswork of putting it into words - makes it into gibberish

    • Tonight was a disgrace. There wasn't *that* much rain, and it wasn’t *that* windy. A festival of this size should be able to withstand some adverse weather without it bringing the whole circus to a standstill. And if it is true that part of a speaker on the Revolut stage fell…   As for the communication - announcing Massive Attack were playing at 12:30 and then nothing for over an hour while people waited in the rain. It’s laughable it really is.   If I said I’ll never come back again I’d be lying. The shambles of Barcelona 2022 and the disgrace of Madrid 2023 didn’t stop me, so this probably won’t either.   This festival gets so much wrong, but it is always saved by having such killer line-ups. It’s just a shame it treats the fans/customers/consumers like animals. Compare it to somewhere like Glastonbury and it’s worlds apart.
    • Yeah, I admit that a small part of me felt relieved when they announced that MA are canceled.. But on the positive side- got to see Florence Road afterall, and they were great
    • Glad I could take the €3 bus to Playa Catalunya! Hope y'all warm and dry up.
