What the fuck is happening .Am I the only one who thinks a "tour" means more than getting your arse of a sofa and depositing it a few hundred metres for a 2week run.

Talented she is undoubtedly and I've been a fan since day one.but as a fan north of Watford im thinking she is taking the piss .I think she's skint .

Yep first time getting the arse off the sofa since 1979 and now doing something and not just one night but lots. Maybe she thinks people may come to her after 35 years....

Yeah. I did think that.

But that was after I had thought "KATE BUSH?????!!!!!!!!! WOW!!!!!!!!!" (what mikeb said).

She possibly out Bowied Bowie with that.

I just gasped. I might have shed some fluid. First thing I heard when I switched the telly on this morning (well, yesterday now).

A good start to a long day.

£75 a ticket (at least), £125 a train ticket, £250 hotel, food, beer etc.

£600/ £700 for me and the Mrs to go see someone who hasnt been on stage on 30 odd years apart from the odd guest slot.

Hmmmm...

Think I'll stick with my Hounds of Love album

100% correct, maximum revenue from minimum outlay, no touring costs, high ticket prices, and a longer run in a smaller hall so the diehard fans can pay to see her several times. She's doing it just for the money, record royalties are not what they were and maybe got an eye on her pension. I'm certainly a fan, 'hounds of love' would be in my all time top 5 albums, but I won't be seeing her until she comes up north (and i'm not holding my breath).

That includes food, transport and ale Tease old boy.

Have I bigged up them big city prices then?

I stay at the YHA when I go down south, with some of those hardworking people who play bingo and drink beer ;)

I've just added my two-penneth...wonder if they'll print it?

"I think she should resign as a singer, a woman and as a human with immediate effect.
I am now going to write to Points of View about that disgusting film I had to sit through for 3 hours last night.
Then i am going to invade Poland. I don't like their flag. It's boring."

I'd love to see her, I can only really stretch to the cheapest 2 bands though which I bet will be right up the back in the balcony! Especially as I need to keep cash in the bank for potential Glasto resale ticketage!

Yeah, it's not like the Hammy O (as it should always be known) is that big though. Main problem is that most people will go for the cheap seats which will make them harder to get.

Some one suggested she should move with the times and be called Kate Brazilian these days. :)

Not sure what the official capacity is now but it's only somewhere around 3500 I think. So unless there's some more dates already in the pipeline for release as and when these sell out, there can't be more than 50/55K tix available in total. By the time you knock off all the usual backdoor deals, priority tix for hangers on various and the mega-expensive supadupa gold plated whatever premium tix, there'll no doubt be significantly less than that available for general sale at a half sensible price in reality. As for price, whilst the feeling is tix just HAVE to be in the bag at any price by any official means and no excuses because failure simply isn't an option ... unfortunately, Mr.Credit-Card is needless to say somewhat less than entirely happy with the plan to say the very least and is objecting most strongly

It's going to be truly horrible on Friday morning isn't it :( Potentially ala Glasto tix as I suspect as everything will be well into the meltdown phase long before 9am never mind when tix actually go on sale ! Going to have to be mega lucky in picking the 'right' date as well because even if you do manage to get through to something even remotely resembling a booking page, I can't see there being any second chance if your preferred date happens to be sold out when you finally get there. Bugger and all that, I'm really not looking forward to this insane scramble.
