Last year Refused, New Found Glory and Mastodon (I know they pulled out but their replacement was only the sub but even then Ghost are bigger than Marmozets) headlined and the year before that Jimmy Eat World, Gogol Bordello and Of Mice & Men headlined. Marmozets aren't near that level. Even in that prediction Parkway Drive, Bury Tomorrow and Crossfaith are all bigger than them. I like Marmozets but they're not big enough. justanothername
Yeah a slot or two, not to headline The Pit though. The last headline shows they did in the UK back in July were around 450 and 600 capacity venues and these were the only 2 dates. Parkway Drive are headlining venues around 3500 and Mastodon and New Found Glory doing around 2500 with more than two dates. Even Crossfaith are doing bigger venues than them. Unless this album propels their popularity massively it ain't happening
Andre91
Parkway Drive headlining The Pit would be incredible. Absolute chaos.

I imagine most of the acts will be around what with new albums... but doubt Grimes would do main or play that low... doubt EODM would be that low either etc. but I'll hope we get a lineup like this: Foals Pendulum Run The Jewels Wolf Alice Editors Don Broco Savages The Joy Formidable Future of the Left Red Hot Chili Peppers The National Chvrches Gerard Way Brand New Grimes Eagles of Death Metal Silversun Pickups Creeper Biffy Clyro Enter Shikari Bloc Party Jimmy Eat World The Darkness Fightstar The Wonder Years Letlive Moose Blood Can't see this happening, but The National into RHCP would be the greatest thing ever for me. dentalplan
I know they can't really play lower because of how recent their success was and stuff but Bloc Party even headlining NME seems a bit large for the low level of anticipation for their comeback. The NME tour starts next week and there still isn't a date sold out (despite oneoftherest assuring us it was 90% sold out in November ) and the album is released next Friday and I doubt anybody really gives a toss other than to see how bad it turns out. That single must have just killed their comeback straight away.
