Not that there is any indication that M83 will play, but *if* they were, what slot do you think they should play? In a perfect world, Other Stage headliner would be great, but in reality they're nowhere near that big. Park or JP headliner/sub though?

Those epic tunes need to be played in the dark with a big old light show!

Been hoping for M83 to play for the previous 3, hopefully they play next year. Last time they played was a mid John Peel slot in 2005, but their latest album has been a lot more successful compared to previous releases so could see them headline JP! No idea if they're touring or have plans to release anything though.

Looking at this year's JP headliners I reckon they could definitely take that slot.

They were might highlight of 2005 (along with Kasabian) because I had never heard of them before. I remember wandering down from the Dance Village on the Friday afternoon ( I think) and hearing these haunting synths drifting from the JP stage in front of me. I had to take a look and they were fantastic. Loved them ever since although I haven't actually seen them live since - I missed them at Latitude last year unfortunately. That's the great thng about Glasto, my highlights are nearly always bands I find that I have never heard before and grow to love (like Holy Fuck, goldfrapp, 65daysofstatic, etc)
