If you remember last year there was that rumour about the festival stopping us from taking in as much alcohol as we please .then MR E made a statement saying that YES we could bring as much alcohol as we wanted but that he wanted people to drink more responsibly.

Well im just wandering if that was just a shot across the bows to see what the reaction would be and if it may be implemented a little more seriously this year .??

I think that was Michael just being sensible (his drink responsibly message) the same as any pub landlord would say, but wouldn't neccessarily mean it and enforce it (not to say Michael doesnt care because I'm sure as a Methodist he does)

The idea to curtail volume is daft and wont have even crossed their minds. Drinking beer/cider throughout the day is far more responsible than drinking vodka throughout the day

And no matter what happens it won't be as bad a "V" - never seen so many hammered women in one place....

Water bottles full of Vodka + lots of bands = wasted idiots missing the music.

Give me stoners any day.
