Lineup 2015

Btw, back to the Kendrick thing, any rap act is having an uphill battle with me. It's just not up my street. While Imagine Dragons drive up my street and honk their horn loudly. That he has managed to amaze me so much at all is testament to just how incredible his album is.

I'd have had him as a tent headliner btw. Just don't think he's as big as some people make out. He pulled a rancid crowd at T a couple of years ago. Unless this new album improves his popularity big time, he's going to pull a fairly poor crowd.

Summer 2013 was a few months after he released his breakthrough album. Now it's gonna be two and a half years. He broke some sort of world streaming record the other day and everyone seems to know who he is so I reckon it'll be different. Those are just the sort of slots he's getting and I dare say he'd have been too big for the NME tent.

Also The Districts should really be up my street as they ape the 00's New York sounds of Strokes and Walkmen but I really can't dig them much, sadly. Haven't seen them live yet though and wouldn't be against it if I had chance.

Haim as the special guest, subbing Mumford? Bastille have a song with Haim. Might lead on from Bastille to Haim?

They're not sub size, by a long shot. And I think they're in America like 2 days before the festival.

Hi in thinking of booking a ticket soon and have never been before so was wondering when you book the ticket do you have to choose the camp you camp in and also is it worth going on the Wednesday?

Hi,

No, you just camp where you want. It's practically a free for all, for the best spots and personally, I love the wednesday. Not much on in terms on music/ nightlife but it's a great laugh

All the camps are themed and you are assigned one on entry to the festival. If you arrive with friends you're immediately separated into different camps an not allowed to see no contact them for the rest of the weekend.

07 - Camp Auchwitz

08 - Camp Peado

10 - Camp Mephedrone

13 - Camp Selfies & Jean Shorts

Also the Wednesday is brilliant, if its your first time at the festival, everyone cajoles you into an evening of games and festivities such as stuffing an egg up your arse and laying it in the silent disco, seeing how much acid you can do before it breaks your mind and makes you either permanently insane or dead.....and capture the flag.

READING 2015! WOO!

Remember that time me and kaos made a small remark about having had a drink or something and then there were two pages of "I don't get why people go on eFestivals and LIE about being DRUNK" led by Will and since Will turned 18 every other post is prefaced by "I'm drunk/hungover" lmoa lmoa lol lol dead.

On the Wednesday of 2013 I witnessed someone down the most disgusting dirty pint that had genuine piss and spit in it. Apparently it's some sort of birthday tradition in Leeds. No wonder everyone hates the north.

Hahah, wow that is the dirtiest pint ever, I mean SPIT AND PISS! No way.

Ps, you can't hack the North, that's why you hate it.

    • Rod Liddle has died. RIP.
    • Tickets on sale from 17th August but there is a special autobuy feature from 10th August- you log what you want to buy and then forget about it apparently.
    • Took my now 12 year old to old Trafford couple of years ago, for his 1st game. He fell asleep during the game, no replies needed. 😃   He is also a Wolves fan, my parenting skills are as good as Onana's goalkeeping skills.
    • A few snaps from Sunday, which was huge fun, plus Happy Mondays, Radio Free Alice, Fratellis and Pale Waves. We didn't stay for The Streets, as after 3-4 songs it felt so downbeat compared to the rest of the day, and i've got another hectic week at work incoming.
    • It was fine, just hectic! The youngsters were mostly very well-behaved. The weather was a real bonus, although surprisingly chilly evenings - I guess it's the altitude - and the area between sound and main stage was a massive dust bowl.
