I don't think those are the lyrics.

Why does it always rain on me...

...turns out it doesn't, I'm hydrophobic.

Being hydrophobic just made the rain more noticeable for Fran Healy.

That day in 2009 was very mixed. Indie acts like Arctic Monkeys, Maximo Park, Ian Brown and The Courteeners, but also other acts like The Prodigy, Enter Shikari and Eagles Of Death Metal.

The Prodigy would absolutely add strength to that day. If it turns out to be Alt-J it could be the WOAT day in the festival's history.

WOAT being worst or winner..?

Worst.

There's no way its worse than Blink 182 day last year though.

That's what I thought.

I think I've done a very stupid thing and got day tickets for the Friday for my brother's birthday. Oh how I wish I could go on one of the others, but he's young and excited and I'm somewhat regretting it...

Its not going to be The Prodigy.

Its Alt-J.

If you're right then fair enough. That would mean the most likely place for The Prodigy to be playing is Glastonbury as well. IOW had KOL play nowhere lower in England than MK Bowl and they are a bigger act. I'm keeping open minded that it could be either but I'm swaying towards a top 2 of The Prodigy/Alt-J Sunday Other Stage.

What was the best day ever (that you've experienced) at Leeds/ Reading?

Saturday in 2010. Leeds was phenomenal.

Cypress Hill

Limp Bizkit

Weezer

We Are Scientists

Blink 182.

For me it was the Saturday at Reading - the Gaslight Anthem, Modest Mouse, Frank Turner, The Cribs, Dizzee Rascal, Libertines, Arcade Fire. Plus I was young so overwhelmed by everything anyway. Loved it.

Only been to 13 & 14, but the Sunday at Reading 2013 was so so good, even though I only saw 4 bands:

Tribes

Editors

A few comedy acts on the Alternative Stage

NIN

Biffy

Yeah I almost said this day, too. Saw ASIWYFA and Merchandise between Editors and NIN. Dinosaur Pile-Up first thing on the NME, too.

    • 1000% agree with this. I was there last night, ridiculous how good he was.
    • Hi Everyone!   I need your help. I'm trying work out who was playing at The Wishing Well at 3am on the Monday morning at the 2025 festival - this was once the official setlist had ended. The music was down tempo, bass heavy, kept evolving, just mesmerising. Anyone have any ideas? and/or was there as well?
