Some amount of rubbish on this thread tonight, some of the worst sub headliner suggestions I've ever seen, sub headliner is a nonsense a lot anyway personally it's far too over hyped.

On other news Refused headlining the lock up is great, and WSS and Mastodon will be very popular.

This is nothing, tomorrow is going to be terrible

I actually don't see what's so ridiculous about bmth subbing, personally I'd love them too

While I see BMTH subbing plausible, just selling out one arena when you only played 3 shows in the UK that year (one a festival and another a last minute intimate gig) isn't enough in my opinion

Given that the final headliner is The Libertines I canlt see it being anyone other than The Libertines.

I have a hunch that you're right

Can anyone else see the third headliner being kanye west i mean he will be bringing a new album out in the summer and he has just flown the london and he is doing a lot of media lately maybe he is going to be on zane lowe and announce it?

Realistically speaking I don't see Kayne West ever doing R/L, certainly not this year anyway

The third headline, if you trust the word of the people who run this forum, as I do and I know many others do, is The Libertines, there's no need to nonsense rumours unless you're really clutching straws

I think BMTH probably could (sub-headline) play second from the top if they were really struggling to book anyone else, but personally I hope they aren't it wouldn't be a good booking

I'm reading this thread sat on my own in Meadowhall and just laffing at every single post and then I got so ???????????? confused by EVERYTHING posted last night I threw my phone across the food quarter and it hit a woman in the face.

Gonna go past Meadowhall on train soon so I may just get off for a bit of banter

Also The Cribs told me last night they're playing the "rock stage" while Metallica are on. Which just seems odd.

Don't know if this is good or bad as even though it will be another clash it will be great in there. How did you even get talking to The Cribs last night

I'm still drunk I think and almost crashed on my way home so came and sat in here to sober up.

Well I went to see The Cribs and spoke to them there init.

I never said he couldn't play top three, I'm arguing he can be a sub and yeah his tour definitely didn't sell out and as much as I'd love Kanye, it more than likely won't be

Which ive already said is bollocks so your either making it up or your friend is lying to you. His arena tour sold our every show bar two (and that included MEN, Nottingham arena and Edinburgh)

    • Latest from the sun at least is that harry is still headlining but Olivia has turned down a spot next year to work on new music and hope for 2028.   So they can't have Fender, Fontaines, Harry, Olivia and Madonna.
    • I mean I don't think EC and FFDP are borderline sub, they wouldn't be any lower now.   2025 is about as strong as Bloodstock gets yet this year only one headline would sub and the others would play 3rd down or lower.    Machine Head wouldn't sub at Download regardless of rarity, they don't sell enough tickets and I'm not sure Gojira would sub either. Their last UK tour was a mix of smaller arenas and academy dates. Ally Pally being the only London date, not even Wembley Arena.
    • live music / main stage will generally end around 11pm but theres dj’s and late goings on right till 4am if you are so inclined.   Drinks are about £7.50 a pint probably and yes theres lots of mixed drinks / spirits / cocktails available to buy   wonderful festival, back for my third year in a row and 4th overall
    • If anyone sees Lakefest this weekend on any sites please post here, I’ve got alerts set. Been on TFG in recent years and not sold out yet.
