Don't think they need to justify not reducing the weekend price. They didn't have to cut the price of day tickets so we can't really complain. I assume they're just not selling as much day tickets as they'd like, and realise they aren't great value. As said, weekend includes camping, so it is worth it.

To be honest, I'm shocked that they did sell day tickets at the price they were last year. It was more than £90!

To go down to £60 seems like a massive drop in one year though. Great for the people going for a day or two though!

Day ticketers tend to spend more money at the festival as they can't bring along food or drink so maybe this affects prices they charge for vendors.

I'm sorta looking for forward to the announcement on Tuesday, tbh the bands that have been announced have been lack lusta but still no bands that could atleast sub, I think tbh I'm looking forward to the subs more then the headliner on Tuesday

Are people misremembering that for entertainment purposes? Because a lot of us believed it until the guy who posted it said it was fake. Was hardly gonna argue it was real with the guy who posted it.

Motto for tuesday - if something seems a bit strange, but there's a high chance it's true ... it's probs true.

Quite pleased on day ticket prices this year. I'll certainly be there for the Metallica day now. Also have friends who live in leeds so if I can do the whole weekend for cheaper that's good news for me. Also dropping a day won't be as bad as you don't have to pay near the same price for 2 days as the weekend.

Yeah that and the fact it was tying up with the BBC reading and Leeds link to the lineup 14 page.
