It was harder to not see him this year, I saw him 3 times. Twice because there was nothing better on at the time.

My brother volunteers in a hospice and one of the patients there's son is in To Kill a King. They supported Bastille once I think.

The XFM gigs are always really good but something always goes wrong like Manics & Suede pulling out & no being informed before.

NME Awards tour is Palma Violets, Fat White Family, Amazing Snakeheads and Slaves. Brill.

It's actually a pretty fun line-up although it's going to sell so badly; the last time Palma Violets played Southampton people were giving their tickets away for free as they couldn't shift them

They seem to be similar venues to the ones on Palmas last tour; a downgrade from the last NME Awards tour anyway. Should sell out really as they're four strong bands for certain people, though admittedly nothing bands for many others.

The London date won't have a problem however I think the regional dates will struggle; Palma Violets are already old news to a lot of people, plus all of the acts on the bill are a bit too leftfield to attract crowds in less hipster-centric areas

It would not surprise me too much if the Portsmouth date gets downgraded to The Wedgewood Rooms

Foos are already, muse will be in just under 7 hours.

I don't think whether they'd shift tickets is in question, as they're very clearly a big act, the issue is more whether they'd booked over another act in the same slot who'd be either cheaper or more popular with the main demographic.

I can't argue agains that point, for example jake bugg this year who is horrible to watch no offence to any jake bugg fans.
