Off topic (yes it is off topic) but Jules' one UK show appears to be selling badly. £25 (+ fees) tickets off the back of such a polarising album probably is a bit too much though. I thought that album was wonderful and I'd still baulk at face value.

Yes. Judging it on twitter is probably the equivalent of justanothername sending out music questionnaires to his friends, but a lot of people seem very desperate to see them, I genuinely believe a few would sell a kidney for a Strokes UK tour, I'd say they're somewhere between the popularity of Arctics and Libs.

I personally like Mumford And Sons and wouldn't mind if they were there, but for reading I'd prefer 90% of the other band that could potentially headline over Mumford.

I don't know anyone of my mid twenties who gives a toss about The Strokes these days, maybe a few singles for nostalgia but never a day let alone weekend ticket to see them.

A few of my younger mates like a few singles but thats about it.

I mildly dislike NME but I don't bother reading it. I'm fairly ambivalent about pitchfork and occasionally check out articles on it regarding specific acts/albums. I'm more just pointing out yellow's being a tit.
