i reckon if they do announce more this week there'll be a few 'first' announcements for european festivals.

apart from arctics i can't think of anyone already announced in europe who could headline

Definitely, 4-5 bands I'd reckon....maybe one a day for a week as they did in 2010(Pearl Jam, Muse, Pink, Rammstein, Green Day)

I'd like to do this festival but I'm going to T the week after so would want to have a comfortable night sleep and see the festival that way and then next year do it all without having T the next week. Two weeks of camping at festivals will be too much so does anyone know if when they go on sale you can get like package tickets(for example get the festival ticket/accommodation all in one)? Thanks!

Not on sale but this is from last year, they are pretty expensive though and a hotel might be your best option.

Thank you! Just want it to be easier so that like I can get there. So if I did a hotel I'd be alright getting the shuttle bus or something so not sure where I'd get a hotel, like werchter the village or in the capital..

There are some (Brussels) hotels offering packages including shuttle buses, but I think those go on sale later than the general tickets.

Alright will already start making plans as last year just came way too fast and plannig started way too late :-)

Looking to join a group or start a group to go to Werchter 2014, ideally from either the UK, but Germany and Holland are okay too.

Are they announcing a band every day this week then? Don't Werchter usually announce more than just headliners to begin with though? Ikind of followed it all last year but am actually genuinely thinking of going this year ^^

with hellfest being just about 2 weeks before werchter could we possibly see black sabbath or aerosmith headline ?

also potential for alterbridge and rob zombie on the undercard ?

Been to RW the past 2 years, absolutely love it, almost definitely going again in 2014.

Be interesting to see who gets announced over the next couple of days, i have no clue who else they're going to announce the only act i was strongly expecting were Arctic Monkeys so now i'm just gonna wait and see how it pans out!

On the Katy Perry idea, i was thinking this too! as far as i'm aware she's not announced any Belgian dates yet so who knows!

Volbeat are playing Hurricane/Southside two weeks before Rock Werchter, any chance they'll play again next year? I thought they were absolutely fantastic this year.

Praying for Pearl Jam and QOTSA. Arcade Fire would be brilliant too, but I'm not expecting it. And NIN headlining The Barn please.

I'm expecting Pearl Jam and Linkin Park to be announced, with QOTSA co-headlining with either Arctic Monkeys or Linkin Park. Also expecting NIN to headline The Barn. If so, I'll hopefully see you all there.

Is there no chance of NIN doing festivals as well as their tour? There's been rumours of them doing that in England. I swear there was a rumour about them playing The Barn earlier in this thread.
