Elbow certainly IMO, awaiting Neil to prove me wrong won't headline Sunday.

why would you think I'd bother to do that?

It's one of three days. Anyone guessing a day stands a chance of being 33% right. Doing as you're doing you stand a chance of being 67% right.

But further to a post I made earlier today, I'm now more inclined to see them headlining Sunday than I am another day.

dont think they sold out wireless ... i remember i was watching muse at wembley and was thinking of switching to the 2nd date as i really wanted to see Daft Punk ... could still get tickets a week before

my friend who is massively into electronic music was disapointed by them though ... thought Justice were much more impressive live

also if you rule out Iron Maiden from ever headlining surely you must rule out Led Zeppelin from ever headlining as they are technically the same genre

I saw about 4 mainstream bands the whole weekend. My favourite bands were Skinny Lister, Penguin Cafe and Keith Allen. And yes, I STILL heard too much about Daft Punk. Not their music being played, just people that wouldn't shut up about them.

I listed Daft Punk as one of my favourite five bands this year - for not turning up. Just think how much worse that sort of drivel would have been if they had actually been there!

Maiden just headlined Download, would Eavis really want to get them after they've headlined a rock/metal festival the previous year?

My mums boyfriend loves Maiden to the point where I am sick of it being blared out of the speakers at theirs, but he says they put on a great show and I probably know a little bit more about them than a should for various hush hush reasons xD so if they play they play but at the end of the day, Glastonbury is a very broad music festival with the only exception really being metal music and I can totally understand why.

    • If you didn't see melt banana at Apolo. Go see them at the festival. Insane.
    • Interesting, and thanks for coming back to give an update! I've seen that the second stage looks bigger than usual too, looks to be a Serious Stages - Stellar Stage from distance photos.    Seems like sizing wise stages have been scaled up somewhat this year.
    • I see its cancelled now but they did leave it really late to announce plus they are up against Kelburn Garden Party Festival not to far from the festival site.
