And finally, I can't think of a single large-scale act who is more 'un-Glastonbury' than Rihanna. Doesn't write any of her own songs (writers have to battle it out to 'earn the right' to be on her albums), barely sings live, hardly any talent for me (attractiveness clearly pays the bills), advertises smart phones at her gigs. There are many other points which mean she isn't suitable. No great fan of Gaga, but she'd be a better choice compared to Rihanna. If I recall, she can play a piano at the very least.

My guess is 3 from Radiohead, Arcade Fire, Kasabian, Lady Gaga, Stone Roses, Fleetwood Mac, The Killers

With outside chances of Kanye, Daft Punk, Justin Timberlake or Foo Fighters

And VERY outside chances of Led Zeppelin, Prince or Bowie

Kasabian, Stone Roses, Radiohead is my guess for now. I'd prefer to swap out Kasabian for AF though

Odds drop if lots of people bet on them, but there's no evidence that those people have any idea what they're doing. Could be the same people who churn out idiotic predicitons on these forums.

Before she was lady gaga Stefani was a songwritter and I'm pretty sure she is a classically trained musician, think she went to a 'music school'. She co-writes all of her songs with her producers. She's a lot more 'credible' than people giver her credit for, especially the first album, just people put pop music and female singer together and get mindless drone who sings what she's told.

Reckon gaga would nail a pyramid headline slot

posting here or not about it, putting up the info I've known for months is not my highest priority right now.

Running my business in the best way possible is - which if I don't do, it won't be here for your entertainment next year. This site costs £6k a month to run; in these busy months it's doing less than that. So efests is fucked right now - it won't be here this time next year as things stand - and that's of far more concern to me that your selfish little wants, OK?

Now, back in the adult world where people have weighed up and worked out their priorities, I'll say again, I'll tell you soon-ish. If that's not good enough for you, oh well, fuck off somewhere else where they won't tell you anything at all about next year's headliners.

    • It was awful during Father John Misty and I was close to the front. People just shouting and laughing their f-ing heads off about nothing in particular and being louder than the bloody stage.
    • Other things I noted yesterday, away from the obvious…   Positives: - an extra water point towards the back left of the main stages has appeared, which I believe is new for this year (and was much needed) - handing out free ponchos was a good touch  - caroline were fantastic. I’d never been in the Auditori Rockdelux before, it’s a wonderful venue and a great venue if you fancy a more chilled out environment  Negatives: - the talkers. I know it’s always bad here (and most festivals nowadays) but f**k me people wouldn’t shut up yesterday. I wonder if it was partly as a result of people being at artists they had little interest in (due to rain limiting their options), although it wasn’t great during blood orange. We’ll be making an effort to get a spot nearer the front for anyone we particularly care about over the weekend  - not enough staff around (and the ones that are there are largely useless). Most other festivals have them everywhere and are happy to help
