Last year had two pretty massive headliners and still managed to have poor ticket sales. This is a pretty poor attempt at trying to rectify that. There's much much bigger problems here than FOB's positioning. Especially seeing as FOB are bigger than Suede now anyways, and them not subbing ahead of them is a mistake.

But the tickets apparently sold poorly, so in a way they didn't.

I think Chilis are probably a better booking than Bon Jovi, judging by the reaction they have received in particular. Whether those people invest is another thing.

Just something I found mildly amusing; Red Hot Chili Peppers look to be clashing with the England vs Italy match. Two years ago people were rushing to sell their tickets for the RHCP's Stadium of Light show because of the England vs Italy game.

I was at that gig and their were quite a few people around me complaining it was clashing with the footie but were relieved afterwards when they found out England got beat. That gig was one of the best gigs I've been to, fck da police.

Sold my Isle of Wight ticket because the Saturday line-up is just so utterly poor and changing it so that Gorgon City are now the Big Top headliners on Saturday was the final straw.

This is why you don't get tickets before the line-up is released.

It was just TBA before, though Gorgon City was already announced but subbing or lower down or something. Pretty poor form really, though I suppose they had to offer something to appeal to those not watching Chilis or football, though they still have more stages to announce I think.

In your opinion but ticket sales say otherwise surely? Yes I think it is a bad lineup but they've obviously done something right that other festivals haven't.
