Thing is even tho that was 10 years ago they were all massive bands then. The strokes were awesome a year or 2 after as well couldn't see any of them bands playing now except maybe Coldplay

won't day tickets sell out considering JT is so expensive to watch yet you could buy a day ticket and see loads of other bands and JT for less than his normal shows?

Same for Beyonce last year but I think there were a few places that had tickets left last year. Id like V to sell out, even if it is just day tickets at first

I dont know any prices, just know that Beyonce's tour wasnt exactly cheap and it sold out same as JT's. I think JT day will sell out especially if Paolo Nutini is that day as he is apparently a bigger draw than I thought

JT's tour isn't totally sold out, mostly is but I picked up a ticket for five rows from the front just last week. the cheap (in inverted commas) seats have gone though

if they could just announce the bloody day splits now it'd be so much better for everyone

I wonder if V even have all their day splits worked out or if they just book acts for the weekend and say this day we want you there and then go there the day after. Would be good to do day splits now, IOW have gone one step further and done stage splits already

I would of thought they have to book on certain dates, especially with other festivals in the UK and in Europe that weekend.

It's just a DJ set they're doing rather than the full live set, probably why it's on a smaller stage.

Good point and JT/Elbow/C&S covers most genre bases so yeah elbow probably saturday at Chelmsford
