Not really a rumour, but I was talking to my brother yesterday and he said lots of people on the Muse boards think the European festival they may be doing next year will be V. I think that's just down to the fact they haven't done it in a while and it's a big payday. I don't think they will.

Doubt it. Muse would be wasted on a V crowd, more suited to R & L which is more likely. Would depend on the money offered though, they're a big factor in which fest I attend next year, and if R & L get arctics as well they're looking solid already

Muse won't play R&L though because they last did that in 2011 which is far too recent

There's no chance at all they'll play R&L. They're about the most mainstream band in the world other than Coldplay, they could easily play V.

Didnt realise they'd played so recent but still don't see them at V. After this year the organisers will want major mainstream acts now. Going to be the new T4

They're V fest favourites

They'll be crying out for them to play Escape and Fury, and will boo when Starlight is played, so they have to cut it short

Personally think if Muse play a Uk festival it will be IOW or 1 of the things going on in Hyde Park/Olympic Village

Coldplay are on a 3 year break, they only toured last year.

oasis and Rihanna would be huge - Rihanna on a UK Exciusive too, she'll have done V Fest, she's even playing a fest in europe that'll book her and a stadium tour. IF she doesn't actually take a break year and doesn't end up at Glasto - as I see that being the better offer for her at this time then that's still big.

I am afraid that your wrong, coldplay aren't on a 3 year break they just won't be in Australia for a few years, Chris Martin said that himself. There a possibility

Im not sure Coldplay would play V anymore, it will have been 11 years, I just think they feel they're above it now.

V is a weird one next year to be honest. I can still see The Prodigy and Dizzee Rascal being top two on one of the days.

I think either Gaga or Katy Perry for one day, Coldplay or Prodigy or (if money V throw at them could pursuade them) Mumfords

with Avicii on 4music stage one day, One Republic on at some point on 4music stage and McBusted in the arena at some point

Can see most of them, cant see Tom Jones though and I wouldnt ever want to see Miley there :S
