We are way too organised, puchased 24 cans of Rev James direct from Brains and 24 cans of London Pride from Bookers Cash n Carry. We are able to leave them as only drink from cans at festivals, always order some in bottles for drinking at home.

Will also take a bottle of whisky decanted into several hip flasks. Not sure which yet most likely to be either Makers Mark or Macallan depending on supplies and prices if needed.

Will be on the strawberry brothers this year, normal cider makes me gag when I have it for the whole weekend haha.

Might try out some skittles vodka too.

12 pack of fosters aswell. Not sure what else I'll take.

I'm brewing my own this year - I usually bottle in glass, but will be using PET bottles to be farm-friendly. If you've not had a go at brewing before, you could just about squeeze a batch in before the festival if you had a go this weekend. :)

I have a batch of German kolsch and a Belgian saison on the go with the intention of bringing them to the festival... no doubt I'll bring some cans as well for when those are all gone :)

Port was mentioned on here a few days ago as a good drink that doesn't need to be chilled and I like a drop of port, so having decided to add some to my packing list I was well pleased to find Dow's Master Blend Finest Reserve yesterday in Tesco, currently on offer at £7 reduced from £15.

Also, Westons Stowford Press cider, 4 x 440ml cans, 2 packs for £7 (amongst lots of other ciders on the same offer), and litre bottles of Pimm's down from £18 to £12.

On the subject of Pimms. Try the cheapo Aldi version "Austins" it is actually pretty decent and quite a bit cheaper. Their gin recently won a taste test beating everything including the Harrods own brand (£35), Gordon's, Bombay Sapphire and Hendrick's!

    • Never too early to start discussing next year’s headliners right?   I’m not attending this year so thought I’d get the ball rolling as I saw Weezer have a new album out in August I’d expect them to do this or Slam Dunk next year. I mean they’re probably too big for this however I think they’re niche enough that they would maybe do it, it just depends on if the fee is a bit out of range for trees.    It’ll be the 20th anniversary next year so I’d expect some throwbacks and hopefully some big headliners/acts. James has already said he’s made a mad booking that you wouldn’t guess & I think he mentioned that he’s spent something like 80% of this years budget of next years top line already on last weeks 2 promoters 1 pod (Don’t quote me on that).    I reckon they’ll try for and get at least two (not all) of the following - Enter Shikari, AFI, Weezer, Sex Pistols Feat Frank Carter, Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls
    • for some reason last night watched series one of Prey on Netflix.   if Legends was written by Timmy Mallet (see above) then Prey seems to have been made by Mr Blobby.   why are all these British crime dramas so sh*t?
    • It'll be all over various Seatfillers based upon previous years at Sandringham
    • The Jayhawks 2026 UK Tour    Sept 15 – Brighton – Corn Exchange  Sept 16 – London – Electric Ballroom Sept 17 – Manchester – Academy 2 Sept 18 – Glasgow – The Garage    For you ‘americana’ lovers. They have a great song book.
    • Weezer just announced a new album & US tour so could add them to the headliner pool. Imagine they’ll do this or trees
