Saw Chic at Electric Picnic in 2009. Went in not knowing what to expect, was probably best gig ever been at. Wouldn't mind seeing AM as only headliner I'm interested in, but been busting to see Chic again. It's probably my one 'non negotiable' act of the weekend, can't wait

Twas my first post there, been lurking a while as first Glasto so thought would throw my hat in the ring on here haha. Yeah my mates are same, have never shut up about it since and anytime at a party generally commandeer spotify to get them on. Remem them playing 'Lady hear me tonight' by Mojo, never knew that was one of his tunes at the time. Love that song, bit of a soundtrack to a summer in the states many years back. Think rest of my crew all for Monkeys, I will be the one in the Reni hat giving it millions on my todd. Don't care, know this is going to be epic!

If they open with Le Freak at Glastonbury in the same manner that they did on that YouTube video from Brizzle, I think the crowd will explode or something. Seriously debating seeing them on my own if the rest of the group are set on Arctic Monkeys, or perhaps tactically befriending someone who is also planning on seeing Chic, mwahahaha.

Starting to get really excited for Chic and the best part is that i've been looking forward to Seasick Steve and Tom Tom Club too and they are all on the same day one after the other! Is anyone else checking these 3 out?

id like to see al three but i dont really ever seem to stay around the same area for a long time. The good thing about holts though as opposed to the pyramid is that its pretty easy to slip off to avalon or for some food and then come back

    • Solid list...  but i must ask?  are you excluding Lime Garden & Tomora as you didn't like them or is it that you havent listened to them?
    • It was Brooklyn last year, and I seem to remember a Guinness tent
    • That leaker off Instagram was saying earlier this year that Nickelback are doing a tour with Broco and Wargasm, but no evidence as yet
    • Gojira are unoficially confirmed by the organisation at Hellfest since last December already.   Slayer was supposed to be this year as a Mainstage 2 headliner at the place of Volbeat for a thrash day but negotiations fell off. Very likely to be there next year.    MCR I didn't know about but it fits well with Hellfest's desire to keep one day as more punk/rock orientated.    Europe are a confirmed headliner for Sweden Rock 2027. They will not headline HF but we may seem them on the bill. I am very curious who will be the legacy bands next year at HF. There was some backlash after 2025 and a bit of a return to heavier metal on the bill in 2026 - e.g. Gatekeeper on the main stage. The only considerable legacy acts I see coming (if they are in Europe) and haven't been at HF for a while are Def Leppard, Motley Crue, Slash, FFDP (if you count them as legacy), ZZ Top, and Lynyrd Skynyrd. I really hope they manage to pull sth big for the 20th anniversary like AC/DC.
