Used sledges before but they are a bit hard work dragging

This is what we use , has a large weight limit and is very easy to pull on the bike with no weight on the arms or shoulders (obviously ) cant recommend enough , with bicycles being kept securely in the lockup after we have got all kit in . http://www.erde-trailers.com/erdeacute-cargoe-bicycle-trailer-499-p.asp

I concur with the suggestions of the B&Q sack truck, I have one called Boris who has now retired to my Dad's garage (since I have purchased a trailer tent, I no longer need him).

My top tip however, would be this stuff

Just pallet wrap everything to the trolley once it's stacked and nowt will fall off as you strike out across the farm.

Used it at Bestival and it worked fine fully laden. Have yet to see how it would work in muddy conditions though.

If you don't mind me saying, the tyres look ok but the frame looks like it could snap quite easily with a heavy load over some of that infamous Glastonbury turf. I always feel really bad for those people that I see with trolleys and such that just weren't up to the job and collapse 50 feet from the car!

This reminds me of a poor young guy I saw on the Wednesday in 2011. He had one of those two-wheel trolleys loaded up with 6 x 20 tin boxes of various types of beer and cider. He was doing well until the cardboard boxes got wet and spilled the contents all over the place!

We couldn't help him much as we were struggling through the mud with our daughters' stuff but it did make me think that carrying a couple of black plastic bags to cover things up with just in case it rained would never be a bad idea.

Are trolleys advertised as fishing trolleys the same as festival trolleys?

I was looking at the Bison folding fishing trolley at only £19.99, which looks just like festival trolleys sold through Funky Leisure, but they neglect to give a weight limit. Does that mean the fishing trolleys might not carry the 50kg that the Evolution festival trolleys carry? Or does it just mean that Bison don't advertise a weight limit.

Any comments gratefully received. Wanting to decide on a trolley and order ASAP.

We've got one of those B&Q trolleys - it was £15 - and some bungees. LOTS of bungees.

I used to use one of these....

...Went to maybe 8 festivals, still got it and it still works. Had upto 4 x 24 crates on it. If used correctly it won't collapse unlike what some will lead you to believe.

In a group I now use one of these...

...incredibly strong, pretty much holds everything.

For festivals now though, by myself I just pack a 90litre backpack with my camping gear strapped to it and 2 of the below Tesco hemp type bags full of cans of drink. They work a treat, I stitch them up with a lace if I am going by public transport.

I have had one of these for about 5 years,quick oil and service every year and away it goes again.

Only problem with these is you need decent boot space/van or roof rack to carry them.
