If the Hyde Park gigs were part of a longer tour then - depending on the ticket prices - I wouldn't be so sure. As they're the only European shows, yes, they'll sell out pretty sharpish.

I seem to remember Lexy announcing an incoming line-up, and we ended up with seven or eight bands, some of which were already more or less confirmed.

That was a few days/ the week before, a load of people went on to hurl insults at her on twitter even though she said it was only a small announcement. (It was just a random selection of about 10 bands i think!)

I have a feeling it leaked and then got hushed up or something? At least some of it, Which is why they announced it in the evening.

Amy Winehouse, The Who and the Arctic Monkeys are some of the headline acts announced today at Glastonbury.

Lily Allen, Paul Weller and Shirley Bassey also feature in the full line-up of more than 200 musicians performing at the event later this month.

The festival, which starts on June 22, will be the largest yet, with an extended capacity for 177,500 campers.

Festival organiser Michael Eavis today spoke of his excitement as he confirmed The Who, The Killers and Arctic Monkeys would headline on the Pyramid Stage.

Mr Eavis said: "Believe it or not, it gets easier every year. People really want to play and get involved these days."

Kasabian, The Fratellis, Bloc Party and The Kooks are among other big acts confirmed to play on the larger stage.

Bjork, The Coral, Editors and Babyshambles will perform on the second Other Stage
