I think some sort of "tent slippers" are an oft overlooked necessity. Outside of that, My Karrimor boots finally gave up so I've got some new Salomon GTX boots for every day and my old faithful Hunter Argyll farmer wellies for the more extreme circumstances. Get a decent pair of cushioned insoles in the wellies and they are comfy enough for all day wear.

Even in the heat of 2010 I managed in my Walking Boots, light weight, breathable and comfy.

All about the welly bobs! Wore them for 2010 and would never wear anything else footwear wise, even in the sun. I bring a pair of hunters (picked up for £20 off eBay) in case it gets really bad but switch to the 'bobs as soon as possible. Great for dog walking and snow too!

Always go with walking boots out and about and trainers around the campsite, weather permitting. I have weak ankles so need some kind of support therefore wellies are a no no.

My walking boots are quite weighty though. Thinking of getting something a bit more lightweight. Anybody have any suggestions on brands?

I've worn them nearly everyday for work, construction industry, festivals, camping and hiking and apart from them looking dirtier obviously there still waterproof and all stitching etc still intact,I cant recommend them enough

Just gonna add this http://www.itstactical.com/gearcom/footwear/asolo-fugitive-gtx-boots-combat-tested-in-afghanistan/

I've bought some Rok Neoprene wellies (like Muck boots but half the price), they say they keep your feet warm in the winter and cool in the summer, I can honestly say they are more comfortable than slippers as they have 5mm of wet suit material in them and are very springy when you walk, only £30 on the net. This will be my 4th Glastonbury and my 3 previous have all been wet/moist so I figured that I would need something more comfortable than my old standard £10 wellies.

I hope that they can be left in my car and only need my trainers.
