I'm fairly lucky this year, I've been given itk info from the horses mouths about the plans of Foals, Johnny Marr and Howler. But I'm not going to reveal, I'll never have anything like this again. (I realise the proportion of people that give a shit is very small).

They did play the other stage in 2008 they were 4th from top, so I think it depends on what they got offered, I doubt they will demand a JPT headline slot especially if they got offered sub/headline other or even a high pyramid slot. Also I wouldn't be surprised if there management would want them to play bigger shows for their own gigs and festivals, if they expect the album to do well and does well.

His son supported Howler a lot last year. I met Johnny at one of those gigs (not knowing who his son was/that he was supporting). He was a great bloke and had time to take pics with everyone who asked even though it was a tiny cramped pub.

His son was much better than Howler as well.

pyramid stage would make sense. i reckon their new album is going to do really well, and if you look at the 2011 line up, they could easily play similar slots to Two Door Cinema Club, Metronomy, Tame Impala etc.

it will be great exposure for them, which is what they deserve.

Their new album will get to number 1 I think, they're really going all out behind the scenes to push the third one as the big one.

I'd prefer to see them on a smaller stage but reckon I'll watch them regardless.

Also, I can really see 'My Number' as the track of the festival, i.e. the one that BBC use in between all their clips etc. Think they used Two Door Cinema Club last time.

    • Seems the addition of the Sun Stage area is interesting. Suspect this is the area where the Stage 4 used to be pre-2024. Looks as though they want to try create some space to keep people in amongst the arena post-headliners, rather than just crowds all descending back on the campsite entertainment at once.
    • 2000 Trees - 3 Day Tickets on Concert for Carers to buy (pair £15) sure they will not have them for long, I cant check if they are still available as it now says I have already bought tickets.
    • times and technology has changed , a pyramid headliner is often about the show thats put on as much as the music like it or not and as much as many would like to you cant really blame an artist for trying to get the best out of the set both for the audience in the field and for the cameras also ....
