The Authority dont really have a preference with the Reigns Bryan match, so I cant really imagine them screwing either guy out of the win, unless Reigns turns heel. Reigns Lesnar would be a slightly more realistic matchup, Bryan wouldnt be a real threat, but im only saying that after HHH said on the podcast something about fans wanting some realism in the storylines.

At least we pretty much 100% know HHH and Sting are having a match at Mania, and I cant see Sting losing. Just interesting to see if they have any stipulation with the match, ie Sting loses he is out of WWE for good, Sting wins the authority are back out of power

A lot of people slag off Triple H for burying people of the years, especially Goldberg and Booker T but if he loses to Sting that will be four mania defeats in a row for him.

Going by the promos Bray Wyatt has been doing, it looks like Taker will be returning.

Goldbergs WWE run (when he actually had to have proper matches) was awful.

Taker vs. Wyatt will be cool, but it makes no sense. Is The Undertaker supposed to come back and completely ignore that Brock Lesnar broke his streak? Not have a crossed word with Brock at all? I can't see how they will bring him back without that being seriously addressed by the man himself.

I like Reigns. Ive no interest in a Lesnar vs Bryan Wrestemania match.

I agree, I think Reigns V Lesnar is a more interesting feud.

When you listen to the interview on the network its clear he is very switched on, I think the WWE are in safe hands.

Absolutely, he has a great mind for the business, NXT is a perfect example of that.

I watched the Austin podcast today on the Network and I agree with HHH about letting the women have more actual matches and get RAW back to 2 hours. He handled the Chyna question well but we all know the real reason she will never be in, nothing to do with what she done after wresting.

People give HHH too much credit for NXT. Keegan and Ward are very much the reason for that, and not having a whole team of writers is beneficial. As much as HHH says Vince is his own man, he oversees so much. HHH oversees these two guys, and one guy is even ahead of the other, meaning by the time it gets to HHH, you have one guy's ideas.

I definitely agree that he seems very switched on though. As soon as Austin mentioned a disconnect between him and Vince I thought to myself "hmm, interesting", and it was hard to take issue with a lot of what he says. It'll be interesting to see how good he is with the business side of things though.

For Sting to come in and perhaps lose his only match is hard for me to believe in all honest. HHH could book himself into a match next mania and win if the win meant so much, but i dont think wins matter to him anymore.

Yeah sounds like it, and it would be good to see Taker respond

Yeah I wasn't trying to imply that he should go over Sting, just saying he hasn't won at Mania in a while.

    • Well he is on a rape charge, don't see that one as controversial.
    • Electric Callboy just said they'll be touring here next year. I'm not sure there's a poster for it though. I'll look when I'm near some next.      He said we'll see you at Download at a gig before any of the band. Presumably he was trolling. They're in Austria at the moment and Germany tomorrow with a week's break and more shows in Germany. Whilst not impossible to come back here and then go over there again, it seems unlikely.
    • Thomas Partey, knocked back by Canadian immigration now.
    • I'm sure someone can update you on the clashfinder, and it will be pretty accurate by the time the festival comes around. It's a large flat-ish arena with main stage in the open air, no best side I'd say. Leadmill (3rd stage medium tent) is at the back of the main arena, T'Other (2nd stage big tent) 5 min walk round the corner. At full capacity walking around can take a bit more time though. I noticed that The Enemy are scheduled to not fully overlap with Wolf Alice, so you could catch part of their set too.   You can walk around anywhere with a beer, with most bars the usual mass market stuff, but one nice craft ale tent, back of the arena near the Leadmill stage. A main meal will set you back £10-15, but cheaper snacks also available. Expect a pint to be £7-8. Possibly a bit more this year as prices everywhere are increasing.   It's fairly easy to get to from the town centre using the tram, although can be busy at peak times / very busy at curfew. If you like a walk, it's approx 40 mins to Kelham Island (lots of indy venues) and probably an hour to the city, or catch an Uber. There will be loads of 'fringe' music events on around the city right through the weekend. Most are free. Have a wonderful trip, enjoy the festival, and your stay in our city!
    • I think people on a place like this, that clearly value live music more than most, don't. I'd rather an academy than an arena every day. But I could see a few people that care about "the gram" than the actual music wanting an arena experience even if it's a mid sized band.
