Ah no, I haven't been on IGN or whatever I just meant on social media or in the general press.

Haven't really heard anything at all, so it will be a surprise to me.

So far Maortal Kombat X, Halo 5, Mario Maker and Battlefield Hardlines have all been leaked.

Mario Maker it's a new Super Mario game where you create your own levels according to the rumours, someone took a picture of the booth on the E3 floor.

Yeah Microsoft have really fucked it haven't they? 4 Halo remasters before xmas (this is fucking massive), crackdown (one of my fave games ever), sunset overdrive. Thats enough for me right there, without looking forward to BF:H, FC4, The Division, Evolve etc etc....

I'll be getting an Xbox One for the Halo remasters and Far Cry 4.

Downloaded Far Cry classic yesterday, which now means I've got all three games, although only ever played number 3. Will be interesting to do 1 and 2, which maybe I'll do back to back in a few weeks.

When Halo comes out I'll do Reach, C:E, 2, ODST, 3, 4 in that order and see if I can make sense of the story. It's a shame Reach and ODST especially aren't included in the remasters pack though.

Now, Fallout 4... where are you?

and, OMG

Indeed, atm this is the game I'll either upgrade my PC or get an Xbox One for. Loved the first one so so much!

and the Halo Master Chief collection is an ace idea, very tempted I've only played the first one. So it will be great to have them all slightly updated and in one package if I do get an Xbox One!

As a Play Station man i was excited about Uncharted 4, the Farcry 4 invite system on PS4 (you can invite a friend even if they don't own the game.) No man's sky looks interesting and it's from an indie. Mgs5 I can't wait for, still haven't played Ground Zeroes though.

Also for any Dark Souls/Demon Souls fans this is PS4 exclusive...being headed by Miyazaki who did DeSouls and DaSouls 1 (Not 2) and it looks all kinds of twisted greatness.

My other personal highlight was the Grim Fandango remaster, great point and click classic.

Is Star Wars Battlefront an xbox exlusive then? If so I'm 100% getting a xbone.

FC4 looks amazing, not sure if I like the setting as much as I did for FC3 though.

I was a bit sceptical when they said Nepal, but there does look to be some lovely lush greenery, and the aerial threat from the eagles etc looks interesting, as do the elephants. I'm sure its gonna be ace. One of the few dev teams I have absolute confidence in these days. FC3 was one of my all time faves, and Blood Dragon was equally as good.

Did anyone on here finish BD btw? I absolutely loved the final battle, the music and the narration was absolutely top notch.

The ending of Blood Dragon is one of the most enjoyable moments in gaming that I've ever had. You're pretty much invincible, but I had a massive grin on my face during the final few minutes of that game!

It has been pretty quiet in the lead up to E3 this year, there's normally banners plastered over websites weeks before the event.

Have seen all the press conferences now and Sony and Microsoft were bloomin' close on this one really, I just can't help but like the games Sony showed off more, exclusive or not. THAT demo of The Order looked fantastic! They have some really good Indy stuff to show off aswell, Arkham Knight looked really impressive too as did Farcry 4.

Ubisoft's conference was very strong too, it was great to see more of The Division and RAINBOW SIX YESSSSS. It's been far too long. Also, what the fuck have EA done to PGA Tour 15? I was hyped for the first next-gen console golf game and then they put a course on a battlefield map, which as a couple of spinoff courses fair enough that could be cool but I can't help but feel thats going to be the tone for the whole game!?

Metal Gear 5, Battlefront and Alien: Isolation, Destiny also all look fantastic, I also REALLY like the Dead Island 2 CGI trailer haa

Been a lucky couple of days for me as far as games are concerned, snagged a Battlefield Hardline beta code, and was also one of the 20000 winners of £100 worth of Game shares!

    • Wasn't just me who thought it was either oversold or inadequately setup for the event then? For Pride, over the weekend, where there's also acts in the large blue marquee that was to the right of the "arena" (for want of a better term), it's probably much better as people are dispersed more. Thought the band were great, as was Nick, though he was clearly struggling with his voice at times.
    • I got in for £11.25 in the end, which was absolutely ridiculously good value, and made the queues and overselling of the venue much more tolerable! Sniping in on other people’s unwanted tickets on the day of an event might become my new hobby I think 🥳
    • Ann and Nancy Wilson are planning a final world tour for HEART starting next year. They were never at Glastonbury. They should do it.
    • sub yes I could see but I don't think they get 1hr 15, a headliner starting at 18:15 though is unlikely. Even the recent co-headlines that have had like 1hr 15 then a 1hr 30 after were on 8pm or just before, you are trailing behind more than 1.5 hours then. In that scenario some 3rd down bands are only starting at 18:15 and some haven't lol. I agree they won't not book them due to this but it won't be 6 headliners. It would be 5 headliners and you wouldn't want to see 5 headliners booked but Biffy were to not be thouhgt of as an option for one. Wolf Alice on the other hand could sub no bother and you'd think nothing of it. I'm not so sure Biffy would get headline though after the festival choice in Kendal this year.
