Hello.

Aside from GTA.

Sony just announced October's Playstation Plus for next week.

PS3

FAR CRY 3

DRAGON'S DOGMA; DARK ARISEN

GIANA SISTERS: TWISTED DREAMS

VITA

STREETFIGHTER X TEKKEN

TOUCH MY KATAMARI

Great update for me, resisted Far Cry 3 cus I thought it would end up on Plus and here it is! Dragons Dogma and Touch My Katamari I've heard good things about. Can't wait to play Street Fighter X Tekken on my Vita, its only 2.1gb and has 60 trophies too so that should keep me busy and the last game Giana Sisters is aparently a sequel to a commodore 64 game! So i'll check that out.

Another fantastic month for plus and the backlog just keeps growing!

Decided to reserve a copy of GTA at a local Argos for tomorrow evening, so I can just pick it up on the way back from college if gamestop don't dispatch before then.

It says when you go to buy the game on GS that it's out of stock, and they haven't even took the money out of my account so that's probably why. What a mess, stick with Amazon!

Well having sunk around 4 hours into it yesterday, I am enjoying it so far. Some of the missions have been fun. The presentation is superb, the controls very intuitive and responsive.

On a slightly different note, the old spectre of children playing 18 rated games is stuck in my head. We all know it is wrong, and we all blame the parents (as do I) but there is hardly anything in this game that I would be happy with my son playing, or indeed watching. He assures me that at least one other kid in his class has the game. (he is 9 years old). There were parts of Far Cry 3 I was quite happy for him to spectate on.

The amount of bad language, extreme violence, sexual innuendo (and ultimately watching a couple have anal sex - even at my 4 hour point in the game) is quite staggering. I have read on eurogamer that there is a rape, and we all know about the torture. My daughter is just coming up for 17, loves horror movies and ther usual teen movies (mostly 18 I know) and I am fairly comfortable with her watching almost anything, I had to turn the game off yesterday because she was sat in the room during the mission where I had to sneak up on a couple having it up the arse.

I despair that some parents are either ill informed, or stupid enough to allow a 9 year old boy to own it.

My lad is 12 and plays all of the call of duty's and some of the previous GTA's although he tends to just drive round and shoot people.

Having seen some of the missions on You Tube from GTA V there is no way he is going any where near it. He wasn't happy, saying loads of kids at school have got it although I'm pretty sure their parents have little to no idea of what is actually in this game.

Lets face it most 18 games are still aimed at kids,. If every 18 game was only bought by over 18's you could kiss goodbye to over half the sales. I have never minded the lad playing 18 games because 99/100 it's violence and bad language. I know he's intelligent enough to know the difference between a video game and real life and he hears worse language in the play ground.

He won't be playing this game though as crosses the boundaries on so many different levels.

Totally agree with that, my wife's cousin was on facebook yesterday saying how gta v is on her sons xmas list and she is the sort of person that will happily buy it for him, he is ten years old!..

Even my wife commented yesterday on the amount of swearing in it, which i have to agree is excessive.

Loving the game by the way, but im only really getting an hour or so a night now once the kids and wife has gone to bed

The Edinburgh Evening News were reporting on a midnight launch and re-tweeted a picture of a kid, maybe 10, with his copy, his dad had tweeted it to them and the mother was chuffed that he was the first of his friends to own it. Total joke.

Why do people wait in midnight line for things, you can pre-order it on line and chances are it's delivered a day or two before it's released.

 yeah I've never got that either. Seems like a mad idea to me (like the people queuing up for two days to be the "first" to get the new iphone :S). Even if it comes the day after launch, does it matter that much?! You still haven't wasted hours outside a shop.

Has anyone tried driving through the dessert in the sun set? It's stunning :O My favourite part of the map for sure.

Just starting the "Breaking Bad" missions with trevor ;).. so far the game is 10/10 for me. Will only get better when multiplayer gets released too.
