Mostly the players are the same, but could it be a switch to 4-3-3? Milner moving centrally and then an attacking trio that's played like that for Man U a fair few times this season? I certainly hope so. I think Milner, Gerrard and Young all play better in 4-3-3.

After seeing Spain not play great last night, I think England would be better to get Spain in the next round and miss Germany, that German team is a hell of a lot more physical than Spain and I think that could be England's downfall. Get past the group stage there's never an easy game so you may as well take Spain on.

think its disgusting that bendtner gets fined 100k for showing a sponsor's name on his boxers during a game and a one game ban too, and yet the croatian fa only get fined 80k for their fans racially abusing players.

uefa really need to sort their shit out, pretty pathetic.

I have been flicking through both games and both have been as dull as each other. I hope Spain and Italy both makes the semis as nobody in this group excites me. England as I expected not risking too much, I have only seen half the England game but from what I have seen Ukraine dont really look like scoring.

Great goal by Ibra, apart from a small spell against Ukraine I have found France disappointing. They seem like a poorer version of Spain and I think Spain would take them apart. England V Italy could be tasty, cant remember them playing in a tournament before. Possibly they were in the 3rd/4th match in wc 90?

England v Italy is hard to call, don't think anyone knew what either side would do at the start. I.think winning group d makes progression to the semi more likely than 2nd, I think both England and France would be more likely to win the tournament from the route finishing second. Germany have a huge advantage over the other contenders, they haven't really been stretched much yet and probably won't until the semis. Would be hilarious if Greece beat Germany with the political undertone though.

We're playing shit. We're getting incredibly lucky. We're gonna win the Euros.

And when we do, it'll be considered a bigger anomaly as when Greece and Denmark got to win it.:lol:

That aside, don't you love the way that commentators were outraged 2 years ago at Lumpard's non-goal, but last night it was "oh well, you win some and you lose some". Isn't it great that the morons don't show any bias?
