rawaudioinput
Skrillex is big enough to sub.... but the organizers aren't retarded enough to book him on main He's played main stage slots at festivals before if I remember correctly? dentalplan
Probably in the dark though.
Babyquack
Probably in the dark though. Yeah I'm pretty sure he's only ever played in the dark or in tents at festivals. Tbh, he'd be even more shite in the light cause he tends to have a bit of a light show I think (only seen him once, was enough to put me off)

dentalplan
Blur for the 3rd headliner Wouldn't mind seening some bands annouces to play during the day wich are..... Well good Just so you know; we're currently of the belief QOTSA and Paramore are sharing a headline slot for the third headliner. Could still not happen though. Damon seems to have put Blur on the backburner either way. There may be some good bands on the undercard, can expect a lot of run of the mill indie acts, Kerrang! bands and new upcoming bands across the main three stages though. Babyquack
Blur for the 3rd headliner Wouldn't mind seening some bands annouces to play during the day wich are..... Well good for real? I understand you're new but please read back over the past few pages AND have some common sense. It won't be Blur. They haven't announced any live dates this year so far + Damon is now embarking on his solo career so will be too busy. EDIT: I do think that the next festival Blur play in England will be R&L though, so it's a possibility for the future but just not right now. If you bother to come onto a forum to post your views then there should be some actual thought put into the prediction rather than randomly posting anyway. I came across as harsher than I actually intended so I apologise for that Anthony

I came across as harsher than I actually intended so I apologise for that Anthony Perhaps. I sympathise with anyone that wants to join the eFestivals community and has to try and read through our garbage though. Anyway, I have noticed Peace are getting some decent slots this summer. As we know they'll be back, do we reckon there's a chance they'll be quite high up like 4th/5th main?

I reckon FR headliner like Spector were, against QOTSA/Paramore/Blink. Probably Blink if Disclosure are on NME; need a standard indie band for the NME kids. Topically, I think the first time I posted on eFests I predicted Tinie Tempah for R&L. In the real world people don't think about festivals like us. I'd say 4th/5th is a bit ambitious. Maybe 3rd on NME?

In the real world people don't think about festivals like us. That's the point. Something surprisingly high. I'd be surprised if they headlined FR as that's not something a band like them usually do, and I was surprised when Spector did it. But yeah, it could obviously happen. Agreed. It's basically 9 and 1/2 pages garbage to every half a page of genuine talk. I'd say 4th/5th is a bit ambitious. Maybe 3rd on NME? There'd be no point in playing NME again, I don't think. Unless an act is particularly suited to a stage, they don't tend to keep them there.

It tends to be more widely popular acts like The Lumineers/Imagine Dragons/The 1975/Bastille that that happens to, I think. The same indie fans as last year will see them, and that's about it. True, I was surprised with Spector playing that slot, but all positions just seem to be getting more boring/predictable, so I could see it happening. Franz, fairly strong chance. Manics, not so much.

Gucci Piggy
What possibilities are there for the sub slots then? You Me at Six Pendulum Jack White Elbow Thirty Seconds to Mars Who else? Wouldn't actually be surprised if we got some V-like shite such as Example/Dizzee Rascal on one day. Franz would be good. I'd been predicting BMTH third down on main, so with them probably ruled out I'd like Franz there.

kaosmark2
Perhaps. I sympathise with anyone that wants to join the eFestivals community and has to try and read through our garbage though. It kinda depends how they ask as to what reaction they get from us though. If someone goes "Hi, like the lineup, what do you reckon the chances of ... are?" the response is usually a bit friendlier and less condescending. But yeah, we speak a fuckton of crap. I really want to add another festival or two to my summer. Can't do the dates for Glasto and not many places look really truly exciting.
